This review is from: G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-1333C9D-16GAO
Pros:
Short...ish. I have a set of older RAM that is shorter than this. This RAM is able to fit under my heatsink.
Cheap of course. I installed this with a my existing 8GB of Patriot ram and after playing with the BIOS a bit (had to force 1333 speed, my Patriot was trying to run CAS7 for some reason) the system booted without a problem to 24GB of RAM. Do I need that much? Definately not, I wasn't have any system issues with just 8GB for Win7 x64 even with multiple VM's running. But I wanted to do away with my pagefile without having to worry. This let me do it without issue.
Cons:
Not free.
Overall Review:
Get you some. Or at least get it on order for when it comes back into stock.
