This review is from: ASUS Rampage III Gene LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros:
good board layout
Cons:
the board didn't recognize my drives all of the time. i tryed a PCI-e OCZ card and it would recognize it about 10% of the time. i then tryed to setup 2 OCZ SSD on the Sata 3 ports and setup a raid windows 7 installation recogniazed the raid without the driver. but with and without loading the driver refused to install windows on the dives. this may just have been a defective board on the ports i was trying to use. i was able to get a singel drive to work and install windows on a Sata 2 port. and after updating the bois i still had the same problem with all of the drives.
Overall Review:
i have RMA the board for refund as it does not work as intended

To set up RAID, please be sure to enable it in BIOS. At POST, press CTRL + I to enter Intel Option ROM and create a RAID volume. Save, reboot, and install Windows as normal. Please ready a flash drive or CD containing Intel Rapid Storage Technology as you may be prompt for drivers during installation. If not, install them once you are in Windows.
