Pros:

Many overclock options, runs solid once configured. 64 GB of RAM :-)

Sensors on the board are supported by the standard sensors tooling that Linux has - so you can get your temp readouts and control your fan speeds from linux.

Cons:

Poor documentation. Very picky about which memory slots are populated. Very difficult to diagnose bad memory modules (as opposed to the board being unhappy about an empty slot in the wrong place).

Its only fail mode seems to be "beep beep beep" and not even any documentation about what the beep pattern(s) mean.

In the past, I've bought much cheaper boards that had _much_ better debug tools (leds, lcd readouts, many documented beep codes).

Tech support from the company is poor. 1 day turnaround for each e-mail, and little useful information at all in return.

Overall Review:

The "3D" config menu is silly and slow. Wish it had a way to disable it and go directly to the traditional BIOS.

USB3 port on the back of the board is a bit flakey - plugging in a USB2 device causes the device to not work, AND the ethernet port to drop out. Not sure if it is a hardware issue, a BIOS issue, or a Linux support issue. Seems to work with USB3 devices.
