Exceptional Monitor for the Price 10/08/2013
This review is from: Dell 21.5" 60 Hz IPS LCD Monitor, IPS Panel 7ms (GTG) 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, HDMI S2240L
Pros:
- Edge to edge screen
- Exceptional clarity with very little pixellation
- Operates in accordance to the specs
- 19 1/2' across, 12' down size
- Extremely customizable menu
- Very slim, appx 1/2' with the exception of the base where the cord jacks are, which is less than 2'
- Very sturdy, up-and-down beveling stand
Cons:
The aspect ratio doesn't fit wall-to-wall on the screen. The screen extends to the edge, but there is a little more than a 1/3' black gap, which is just a little nit picky aesthetic.
Even with that being my only complaint, I highly recommend this monitor.
Overall Review:
The monitor came very well packaged with a power cable and monitor cable. I will have to pick up an HDMI cable for the HDMI port.
Games, movies, editing, Photoshop, etc all look amazing.
The menu is supurb for all types of PCers. You have several, EASY options to choose from to get the most out of your monitor. This was a huge plus and a surprise because it was overlooked when we bought it.
We were originally looking at a couple ASUS monitors and a 3D capabale one with two 3D glasses, and after comparing prices with specs between them all, this one seemed to be the better buy. We're extremely happy with our purchase.
