Pros:
Extremely quiet
Gives off very little heat

Expensive (but does have extra encryption/secure erase feature)

Overall Review:
Perfect for archived storage as the 5900RPM is not the fastest though admittedly the overall throughput seemed perfectly adequate. So, yes, a fine large HDD for a NAS array. Photographers and video editors should be ecstatic. Recording of surveillance systems, etc, you get the idea.
I transferred some files and programs from one computer to another using this drive in sneaker net mode and had no issues with the data.
And security concerns are eased with the self encryption/decryption built in. I do however, wish Seagate would guarantee their enterprise drives for 5 years.
