This review is from: AOC 52 Series e2752She Glossy Black 27" HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight Slim Monitor 300 cd/m2 DCR 20,000,000:1
Pros:
It's big. The power LED is under the bezel and shines at the desk. The bezel is fairly thin. Two HDMI ports. VESA support.
Cons:
Terribly diffucult to push the buttons (literally cuts into your fingers). The way AOC have designed the navigation with the buttons is illogical. It took me 20 minutes to get all of the colors vivid without looking washed out. The i-menu software is terrible as well. I'm constantly changing the contrast and brightness on games and my desktop (BF4, Civ5, Win8) I just can't find a perfect all-in-one setting regardless of the hours I've put into this stupid thing.
Overall Review:
I used to buy AOC products back in the mid 90s and promised myself I wouldn't buy their products ever again. I was seriously considering the Samsung 27" for the same price, the only thing that made me chose this one over that one was the VESA support, something I may never use and a good friend bought one and raved about it. Funny how once I described the issues to him, he agreed he was having the same... I want to kick myself! Dog gone you AOC you got me again! I guess never say never.
