Pros:
I wanted USB 3.0 in the front of my case which did not support it. This little fella helped me out. I haven't tried the card reader part, doubt I'll ever use it. The USB ports work great. Just make sure your motherboard has 3.0 or you're installing a PCI-E USB 3.0 card.
Cons:
Only trouble I had was with mounting it. Its was installed in a cheap case which prolly doesn't help but because it doesn't go very deep into the 5.25" spot, one side of the case didn't have the holes there yet. I had to install it a little bit recessed into the case.
Still 5 stars though, the case was prolly as much as this unit.
