Overall Review:

I have owned this headset for a little over a year now. After about 4 months I started to get a buzzing in the left ear of the headset, I contacted Steelseries support and after 3 emails and a week of waiting they finally got back to me. They said it would definitely the cord, so they said they would send me out a new cord. After a week of waiting and no tracking number I contacted them again and was told that somehow my information didn't get entered so they had to reenter it. So then I had to wait another week for the cord to finally arrive. Surprise surprise, cord came in, same buzzing noise. Contacted them again and waited... there was a lot of waiting going on... Long story shortened, we eventually got a RMA headset to me but it took almost 2 months to get it, again, a lot of waiting. On top of that, all shipping was paid for by myself since they couldn't send me print labels for some reason.

Anyway, it's now been almost a year from when I bought the original set, and 6 months since my RMA and while gaming a week or so ago the left earcup on my headset literally fell off. Like right off my head while playing. I was able to push it back together but there is some sort of cheap plastic snap that broke, this worked for a few days, pushing it back together every half hour or so, but now it's completely dead.

Anyway, I'm not going to ever buy Steelseries again after this whole experience. Their tech support and customer service is just awful, and they are the slowest in the industry. Their forgetfulness and lack of making it right by at least refunding my shipping during my extremely long RMA process has permanently left a sour taste in my mouth.
