Pros:
Low cost enthusiast cpu that over clocks well. I'm an AMD fan boy but could not pass on a chip that overclocks this well and cost less that 100$. Built a super cheap gamer for under 450 around this and an MSI PC mate motherboard. So parts list:
Intel Pentium G3258
MSI PCmate Z97 MB
4 Gig Crucial 1600 ram
1Tb Western Digital hard drive
Rosewill 450W 80+ Bronze power supply
EVGA Nvidia 750Ti
Would recomend this if your on a budget or just want to have some fun OC'ing this puppy.
Cons:
Does get warm on full load at 4.4GHz, but Im using stock cooler and it is still stable( 70 + top temp full load)
Overall Review:
Bumped up the CPU multiplier and cpu voltage100 MHz to .25 volts. So Started at stock 3.2 and raised it to 4.4 with voltage ending up at 1.175. I'm sure individual results will vary greatly but 4 GHz should not be a barrier .
