Pros:
Very easy to work with board. Fast, seems pretty stable. See other thoughts for the build info.
Overall I was very pleased with how this board performs coupled to an i5, and an nVidia 660 along with an SSD. It blisters into the Windows 7 desktop in less than 20 seconds from pressing the power button on a cold start.
Cons:
Didn't really encounter many cons. I'm not a fan of the SATA headers they use these days, but not much I can do about that. Just seem easier to break if you aren't careful. Large board though. It JUST fit in the case I had picked for it, but was unable to use any of the drive mounts due to the RAM location, had to be creative. lol
Overall Review:
This was a system for my brother actually. i5 4590 Haswell, Gigabyte nVidia 660 Video, 8GB of DDR3 1600, Muskin Chronos 240GB SSD, 1TB WD Black, Blu-Ray Combo drive, Cougar 600W PSU, Rosewill case, Windows 7.
System was setup with SSD as OS drive, WD drive was for storage of files.
System tweaks:
Disabled Superfetch. Disabled virtual memory. Disabled System Restore (System Protection). Disabled Windows Search. (these are often recommended for many SSD drive setups). This particular SSD used didn't have overprovisioning, so no option for that.
With the above settings on this motherboard it will boot to the desktop in 15-20 seconds with only basic common programs and all updates. That is pretty darn fast folks.
Very happy with this motherboard!
