Does what it should
Pros: It works, installs without any problems. I got it to upgrade an old windows box that I'm using to stream internet video to my tv.
Cons: It didn't come with a driver disk or manual, so I had to connect to the net with the old ethernet card to get the driver. Not a huge deal but I can imagine some users might be confused.
Great board
Pros: - Super flexible motherboard. Tried and true - I prefer the look of the bios to other Gigabyte boards that I have. - I'm still learning about this product but so far I'm happy. My 1st one had defective USB ports but the 2nd one seems to be totally fine. - Thunderbolt is a plus.
Cons: Only thing I don't like is that the release for the PCIe GPU slot is very hard to reach. New Egg is great but unfortunately this product is currently only being sold through marketplace sellers in Asia who don't offer anywhere the same level of customer service that New Egg offers. - Don't be in a hurry or need to process a return (but of course this has nothing to do with the product which is great.)
Overall Review: I am a bit fan of New Egg and Gigabyte boards have generally been reliable for me. Beware of the claims of marketplace sellers.
almost too many wires
Pros: I installed this in my old Dell Dimension 4600. I don't in fact use a lot of the connectors so they end up taking up space. It runs quiet and I think it will outlast the computer.
Cons: I wish the unused connectors could be disconnected from the supply to free up space inside the case.
Works Great in my Hackintosh
Pros: I Love this thing. I have it running in dual mode in my hackintosh/Dell Dimension 4600. I wasn't able to get mirror mode to run, but hey, its not even designed to run under OSX so I can't complain. I love the nVidia control panel. Well laid out and lots of configuration control. Great card for the money.
Cons: I wish it had more video ram.
super quiet
Pros: really great replacement for my Dell old Dimension 4600
Cons: I just wish Dell didn't use proprietary connectors. (means I had to cut the wires to splice this fan to motherboard in an attempt to avoid getting error message from bios. (didn't seem to help). Anyway, its a great fan that runs super quiet.
great
Pros: works well, feels like it should last.
Cons: none.
