Good enough

Zalman 24" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI MZ240ED
Zalman 24" LCD Monitor 5 ms 1920 x 1080 D-Sub, DVI MZ240ED

Pros: Is this monitor as precise as a $200 ASUS, suitable for the design personnel at my company? No. Is is good enough for people who need a wider Excel spreadsheet, want to put two Word documents side-by-side, web-browse and view a few short videos, or create a Powerpoint presentation? Yes. Did 10 new monitors arrive without a single dead or stuck pixel? You betcha. Can't speak to gaming or long-term video (ie movie), but nothing I've seen to this point indicates a problem for the latter at least. The $120 sale price (early Dec 2012) was a steal; too bad Newegg limited me to 10. At $140, it's still a good buy for business. 5 stars takes into account the price. If you have a $300 need, buy a $300 monitor. For $120, I would have bought - and would buy - 20 more if Newegg allowed it.

Cons: Not much adjustability in the stand. Brightness may need some adjusting, but every one of my 10 users got happy after a bit of adjusting.

SAPPHIRE 100924 Active DisplayPort to DVI-I Adapter
SAPPHIRE 100924 Active DisplayPort to DVI-I Adapter

Pros: 3-monitor Eyefinity works as well as it can with this DP to DVI active adapter and two other DVI. But does not work for long.

Cons: First one failed after about 5 hours of use. My fault that I was just past Newegg's 30 day return period. Bought a second and contacted Sapphire, which agreed to replace the first (I paid small shipping to them). 2nd one worked about 15 hours of use. 3rd one - the replacement from Sapphire - did not work at all. Understand - "not work" means won't let Eyefinity work with 3 monitors. Two of my three work fine, in any combination, including the one connected using this adapter. But when only 2 of 3 work, that's your active adapter being passive. Windows without Eyefinity will use two monitors.

Overall Review: AMD should be ashamed of themselves for not telling buyers about the "tearing" you get with two DVI and one DP. You can't see the "line" from the mismatched refresh (I think it's refresh) rate, but when you move your image across the line, the part of your image on one side of the line moves faster than the image on the other. It's easy to see with Excel, and quite annoying with a game. I found it much more noticable in portrait mode, which to its credit, Eyefinity handled well (except for this line/move lag problem) at 3240 x 1920. Google "Eyefinity Screen Tearing" to learn more. AMD had to know this - and sold us all a bill of goods anyway.

Works as advertised. Some advice regarding "tight fit", inserting and removing HDD's.

ORICO 3.5 inch HDD Frame Mobile Rack Internal HDD Case CD-ROM Space 3.5 inch Internal SATA Hard Drive SSD Adapter (1106SS-V1)

Pros: Working with Win 10 on one HDD and Win XP on a second HDD. Installs easily; screws provided.

Cons: No a strong "con", just guidance. As others have written, inserting and removing your HDD is not easy; the fit of the HDD in the unit is quite tight. I thought the door might break, but I figured out how to NOT do that. POWER: Remember to turn off the power switch before inserting or removing a disk (though you might forget it's off). INSERT HDD: As you slide your HDD in, the door starts to close; the door is hinged on the right with the open/close tab on the left. Use your finger on (left front of) the HDD, not on the door, to push the front of your HDD the last mm or two to firmly push it onto the pins (power and sata). The door will still be slightly open, definitely enough for your finger to push the HDD. You can then securely push the door closed. This always works for me; trying to use the door alone to push the HDD that last couple of mm was not always reliable or easy. REMOVE HDD: Pop the door latch loose; the door will open only a bit. Slide a finger of your left hand along the inside of the door towards the hinge as far as you can. Use that to assist your pushing on the left side of the door (with the latch) to equalize pressure along the entire door as you pull the door fully open to pop the HDD off of the pins. The HDD will then be out enough for you to remove it, and you won't risk breaking the door - which you would if you only pulled on the left (latch) side of the door to pop the HDD out. This works well for me, and I have switched my HDD's many times now.

Overall Review: I can recommend this product, but please follow my notes under "Cons".

Beautiful, & the rebate actually worked

AORUS FO48U 48" 4K OLED 3840x2160 120Hz 1ms GTG, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x USB 3.0, KVM w/ USB Type-C, Space Audio, AMD FreeSync Premium Gaming Monitor
AORUS FO48U 48" 4K OLED 3840x2160 120Hz 1ms GTG, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x USB 3.0, KVM w/ USB Type-C, Space Audio, AMD FreeSync Premium Gaming Monitor

Pros: 1. Black is REALLY black. 2. Show Netflix etc just fine. I don't know the tech behind some "it lacks XXX for TV and videos" comments, and video looks good to me. 3. REALLY nice for gaming. 4, Gigabyte came through with the rebate card (Visa debit card); took about 6 weeks.

Cons: 1. While this is bright enough to see in even a bright-daylight-lit room, it does reflect your background on the smooth screen. So it's better in a not-too-bright room. 2, The screen brightness auto-adjusts downwards to help prevent burn-in periodically. That can be mildly annoying, but is easily reversed. Advice: NOT A CON: - Unless you've had a monitor this big, you're likely not prepared for how big it is on your desk, LOL. Think THREE 27" monitors in portrait mode, side by side. - Make sure you have the space for the stands. The monitor is quite thin, but the stands understandably span 10 inches front-to-back (I measured). Meaning the monitor will sit at least 5 inches forward from the back of your desk, and the stands stick out another 5 inches in front of the monitor. No worries about stand strength; they're strong metal. - After reading comments about burn-in and the instructions, I removed all icons from my desktop. I have a blank black desktop and use the Win 10 Start menu exclusively. And I do not use a screen saver - haven't used them forever, as they don't "save screens" anyway.

Overall Review: Very nice for gaming and MASSIVE screen for work. TV/Video displays vibrantly. Reflective surface might be annoying depending on your room's particulars.

Great sound for the price. Newegg rocks!

Klipsch Reference Theater Pack 5.1 Channel Surround Sound System
Klipsch Reference Theater Pack 5.1 Channel Surround Sound System

Pros: 1. I am using these with my computers via a Sony receiver. Center speaker under my main monitor, two satellites to the left and right of the monitor on my desk, two more to my right and left a bit behind my chair, and the sub sitting on a half-inch 12x12" tile about 5 feet away. (Tile recommended if your room has a rug, like mine does.) Very happy with the sound; I have never been disappointed with Klipsch. 2, KUDOS to Newegg. Not only did they have the best price, but they replaced the first delivery without question when UPS delivered the first set after adding several holes punched through the not-fragile Klipsch box and left it at my front door in the rain. The unit is admittedly heavy, but delivery is their business! That first box was obviously dropped and substantially hit several times on its way to me. Admittedly, the rain was light - not a downpour - but how can they send deliverer's out without plastic cover-bags? How any electronic equipment gets delivered intact is a tribute to packaging - Klipsch's was excellent in this case.

Cons: POTENTIAL "Con" if you're expecting all-wireless, as some comments I've seen show that some purchasers do/did. The little wireless transmitter works fine; I plug its power plug into my receiver's power output plug. But it is definitely only for the subwoofer. So if you need/want all wireless, look at other options. BTW, you can use a RCA-jack cord rather than the wireless for the subwoofer if you prefer. The subwoofer also requires power connection (plug is provided).

Overall Review: Very happy with the purchase and - as ALWAYS - with Newegg.

Excellent protection, a bit tough to open

ORICO Hard Drive Case for 3.5 Inch HDD/SSD 5 Packs Portable Hard Drive Carrying Protective Storage Box Anti-Static and Shockproof (Multicolor)
ORICO Hard Drive Case for 3.5 Inch HDD/SSD 5 Packs Portable Hard Drive Carrying Protective Storage Box Anti-Static and Shockproof (Multicolor)

Pros: 1. Strong case, very good padding inside.

Cons: 1. Don't throw out the box these come in; the cases are borderline too smooth to stack reliably, so I just put them back into the box they came in to store them in my cabinet. 2. Difficult to open with just your fingers. Use the small flat screwdriver from your work-on-computer tool set; that pops the latch flawlessly. I would MUCH rather have that latch be "too secure" than not secure enough, so I am satisfied with the latch as-is.

Overall Review: Happy I bought them.
