Corsair H50 rocks.

CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 120mm Quiet Edition Liquid CPU Cooler - Intel Only (CW-9060006-WW)
CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 120mm Quiet Edition Liquid CPU Cooler - Intel Only (CW-9060006-WW)

Pros: QX9650 overclocked to 3.6GHz. With air cooling (Vortex from CM) was having temperatures about 65-70c during moderate loads and exceeding 80c with full load. Installation of H50 is easy, if you watch the videos on the Corsair site. Up and running within 1 hour. Using Arctic Silver ceramic compound. Temp: 48-50c idle to low load. Have not exceeded 65c at full load. Getting ready to take lead to OC at 4GHz. Overall, this will be the only cooling system I will use in all my future builds. Corsair Rocks!

Cons: The fan could be better, I am replacing it with Noctua NF-P14 FLX 140mm Case Fan for better flow.

Overall Review: I would recommend this H50 system to all those who do have the needed clearance in the case for such a large unit. Price is excellent and can compete with all those monster air coolers.

Most Critical Review

Nice Board -- BIOS issues

Intel BOXDZ87KLT75K LGA 1150 Intel Z87 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Intel BOXDZ87KLT75K LGA 1150 Intel Z87 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: The Intel board is well constructed and has support for SSD (PCIe Mini Card Slot). Very nice feature set.

Cons: Board had issues with PC2400 Memory, will not run except on lowest PC1333, mSATA not able to be written to. (Issue 1)--System Booted and was able to put OS, Drivers, Utilities _ Symantec System Restore, Snaggit, Laplink Drive Image started to fail, reinstalling did not help (Issue 2). F2 to Start BIOS will not function and ability to get into BIOS is restricted. Sometimes, if you leave the computer alone it may eventually go into the BIOS (Issue 3). -- and... Newegg will not cross ship a board. So I am without a computer for weeks ( Issue 4)

Overall Review: On feature set, the board appeared to be what I needed for my workstation. So far, it is a big disappointment. Let's see what will happen with the replacement board.

Works Great with VISTA. 64

ASUS WL-138g V2 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
ASUS WL-138g V2 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g PCI Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: Works great with Vista 64. With Vista 64 it maintains a great connection with degradation of throughput or connection speed throughout a 12 -14 hour day.

Cons: Need antenna that is corded with a 3 - 5 foot cord. I replaced stock antenna with extended antenna.

Overall Review: Yes, I would buy it again.

Great goo!

Arctic Silver CMQ-22G The high-density, ceramic-based thermal compound
Arctic Silver CMQ-22G The high-density, ceramic-based thermal compound

Pros: Works as expected. It is thick and will not run even after 12 hours / day of running. Fairly fast curing process, 3 cycles of 12 hours and it was done.

Cons: VERY THICK. The preinstallation process works better is you put the CPU cooler metal in the sun for 10 minutes. The process of "rubbing" the thermal compound and cleaning was easier this way.

Overall Review: Go ahead and buy it, you won't be sorry you did.

Good fan -- BAD installation process

ARCTIC COOLING ALPINE 7 92mm CPU Cooler
ARCTIC COOLING ALPINE 7 92mm CPU Cooler

Pros: Fan works well with system. It does a great job keeping my CPU cool. QUIET. --

Cons: Installation instructions need a bit more clarification. Example: You need to loosen the screws that hold the clips. (STEP 5) The clips would not hold on to the frame as shipped from mfg. I suggest that the fan be removed to allow for easier installation. I broke fan frame, as it is fairly fragile. I have put together a number of systems before, but this one has been the hardest to attach to processor.

Overall Review: Don' t buy this unless you want to be frustrated by installation procedure. I would have purchased -- ALPINE FREEZER 7 LP, if it had been available.
