best bang for your buck
Pros: I just got this hooked up and it works really great! It switches fast and doesn't require any software. It works with any mouse or keyboard supported by your OS. A really great buy!
Cons: None
Overall Review: Newegg's shipping is amazing!! I ordered this and a NIC on Monday at around 11am, this was sitting on my door step the next day at 2pm. Doesn't get any faster than that :)
Fast and Big
Pros: Fast read speeds. Reliable. 240GB instead of 120 like I had before.
Cons: Write speed could be higher.
Overall Review: I mainly upgraded for the size increase. I was using a Kingston 120GB. This was on sale so I went ahead and got it. This drive has been great so far. Read speeds are awesome. I love having the extra space for games and VMs. My only complaint is the slower write speeds. This is around 250MBs, where as the Kingston was around 500. I really haven't noticed a difference though. At this price I would definitely recommend this drive.
Reliable
Pros: Descent amount of features for the price. UEFI works well. It does exactly what I need it to with no DOAs or crashes of any sort.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I purchased this for a home server. I was not overly concerned with features. Mainly wanted some that was cheap and reliable while supporting a descent amount of RAM and a newer chipset. This has worked very well for me so far. No issues at all.
Fairly Fast
Pros: Cheap. Descent IPC (single threaded performance). Stays cool and quiet even with the stock cooler.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I purchased this for a home server. I'm running Windows 8 as the host with Server 2012 running in a VM under Hyper-V. My boot drive for Windows 8 and Server 2012 is a Kingston SSD. It runs this setup very well. I really have no complaints for such a cheap part. I use the stock cooler in a case with very few fans. It stays cool even under load. I can't recall ever hearing the fan. This is not a beastly processor but for the price and what I am doing with it I feel it's a great buy. I went with this over an AMD chip for the single threaded performance. The AMD chips in the price range tend to be seriously lacking IPC.
Reliable/Cheap/Fast
Pros: Fast for the price. Neither DIM has failed in the several months I've been using them. They match my motherboard fairly well :).
Cons: None
Overall Review: I purchased this set to replace the 4 DIM 8GB set I was using. I was mainly looking to get 16GBs of RAM. The 1866 speed on these was really just a bonus, I was using 1600. I honestly don't notice a difference in speed for the most part going from 8GBs of 1600 to 16GBs of 1866. The biggest change is being able to run more VMs and use a bigger RAMdisk. Overall I am happy with this purchase.
Reliable and Quiet
Pros: This power supply has lasted me a little over two years and it works as well now as it did the day I got it. Very quiet. Looks pretty nice too. Also has plenty of power for the majority of people.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: The power supply is something that people tend to overlook. A good power supply is worth its weight in gold! After using this power supply with several graphics cards, motherboards and CPUs. I can say that I am very happy with this purchase. Even after two years I would not hesitate to put this PSU in my next build.
