Great Buy
Pros: This the 3rd AMD/ATI 6970 that I have bought. The First a Vision Tech cost $190 in 2013. then $99 for a Power Color. and $85 for the Sapphire. They are all great Cards and were top of the pile in 2012. I looked and nothing came even close for Shaders 1536 and 2 gb DDR 5 in this price range. It does need at least 225 watts of 12 volt at least 50+ amps on 12 PSU
Cons: Power Hunger. 10.25 in long and needs slot is double wide .
Overall Review: GPU-Z spec's 40 nm 2 Billion 640 Million Transistors. 1536 unified shaders. Pixel Fillrate 28.2 GPix. Texture Fillrate 84.5 GPix. Bus width 256 Bit. Band width 176 GB/second GPU Clock-rate 880 Mhz Memory 1375 Mhz 2048 MB Samsung open CL and Direct Compute 5.0 Direct X support 11.0/SM 5.0
Death Star
Pros: I bought this in a Lifestyle 1 TB Desktop Drive. Cheap It lasted 7 months.
Cons: Cheap. I bought as a Lifestyle Desktop in 2/2011 for $59. It worked fine for 7 months. Then it would not take large files and lose it index. I'm waiting for a replacement. It passes tests for about 4 hours then fails. They are also known as "Death Stars" instead of "Desk Stars". The name brand was $10 more, should went with them.
worked great in my grandsons new Acer E5-576G-5762
Pros: Replaced one 8 gb stick DDR 3 in grandson new Acer E5-576G-5762 with this matching G Skill two 8Gb sticks. Took his one 8 gb and placed it in my old Toshiba C 55 single slot lap top
Cons: None
Great Value 4 TB HDD $98
Pros: I use for mass storage 4 TB 256mb cash at 5400 rpm seam to do quite well for a HDD. On big transfere10 GB + to USB 3.0 slows from 350Mb to 150Mb after exhausting the cash
Cons: Not a SSD, but a 4TB SSD would cost $600
Overall Review: I now always use a Samsung 500GB SSD as my primary and now use this Seagate 4TB HHD for storage and back up.
Great for a 2 TB laptop HDD
Pros: Seems some what faster on boot up, Win 7 64. Always between 45-60 seconds . Before 60-100 seconds. 5 year warranty.Vs 2 Year on standard HHD. I would buy again
Cons: Not a real SSD
Overall Review: I amost always buy Seagate for HHD. About 20 in last 15 years. Only one failure on 2012on a 1.5TB Seagate HHD and was replace under warranty
Great Powerfull Router
Pros: Easy set up, even if you want custom settings on LAN and WiFi. Mush faster and better range than my old Linksis E3200 both on my LAN network and wifi network . From my basement reaches whole house at least 60 + feet at max bandwidth. Great value and tech support if you need it by phone to CA , not Bombay
Cons: None
Overall Review: Would buy again. Plan on buying a AC9 1200 for remote access point. Tip: To Change LAN IP from 192.168.0.1 if using LAN connected Computer to lets say to 192.168.1.1 disconnect LAN computer from router after saving new IP address
