Good card for gaming
Pros: -Ray Tracing -Nice cooler design -The card is so solid you could use it as a weapon
Cons: -Gets really HOT!!! -Fans can start to make a weird loud noise if the speed is increased to abou 70%+ -Seems fan speed doesnt do much for the temps as the Junction temp gets up into the 90's and can reach to 100 degrees at times just by playing games.
Overall Review: -I recommend to anyone looking to upgrade even tho its a bit overpriced but it is what it is. -Can be used as a pizza warmer as it gets extrememly hot
never switch to AMD
Pros: nice cooler, 3gb vram.
Cons: unstabled, cant run DX11 titles, just everything on the inside is horrible that I have experienced
Overall Review: This is my first and last time switching with AMD, had to RMA it because for some reason it wasn't running DX11 games like Crysis or Battlefield, it would always freeze and then I have to reboot, and then not only that but it locked my display up that I could no longer get into windows, I had to do a clean install of windows 8, lost everything on my hard drives and SSD and then after that all of a sudden it just stopped even booting to bios, I have never in my life experienced this with all the Nvidia cards I purchased not even one hiccup with Nvidia cards, not only that but when I had to purchase a return label of 15 dollars just to ship it back (still in shipping) and not only that but Newegg charged me twice and im probably going to get a overdraft fee on my bank account now. wish I never sold my gtx 770, just the one time I really wanted to switch to a different company because I thougth the card looked awesome. Never again will I go this route.
its okayish
Pros: -it was in stock for less than its MSRP price. -its a 5000 series -can be used on a MSI B450M motherboard
Cons: -comes with a cheap cooler from the 2000 series -not much difference in performance than my R7 1700 cpu, seems like the same performance
Overall Review: as of now ide recommend if you dont wanna spend the over $400 for the Ryzen 7 5800x, i get the same performance in games as i did with a 1700 cpu paired with my Rx 6600xt
