great board

ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Love this board, 6 sata ports, onboard usb3, plenty of fan ports. Like the fact that you can control all the fans with the included utilities and overclock the same.

Cons: Didnt notice right away but there was a thin film of plastic on the heatsinks, almost didnt notice them except the one on the one that has the asrock embedded on it i saw a bubble around the letters. Not enough to remove an egg but check anyway. Don't like the location of the front audio header but I was able to mod my case to make it work, I routed the wire through the top pci slot and connected it that way to keep it hidden.

Overall Review: Paired this with a fx 6300 and 12gb ram and was able to get a consistent 60fps in most games with my hd6750. I don't think some of those massive heatsinks will interfere with the ram, I am using the low profile ones though and they work wonderfully

nMEDIAPC ZE-C288 Black Aluminum Panel 5.25" Bay All-in-one USB 2.0 Card Reader with USB 3.0/e-SATA Port/HD Audio Ports and two Fan Controllers
nMEDIAPC ZE-C288 Black Aluminum Panel 5.25" Bay All-in-one USB 2.0 Card Reader with USB 3.0/e-SATA Port/HD Audio Ports and two Fan Controllers

Pros: Usb 3 internal header, single usb 2 plug for the card reader, esata, audio. All connectors except the usb3 are removable

Cons: One of the fan controllers( the right one or number 2) dosent work, I'm gonna figure out how to fix it. The whole thing is a little flimsy. And like stated somewhere else that the cards stick out from the housing, not a big deal since I don't use them that often

Overall Review: If I can fix the other controller I would've given it 4 eggs. And the fifth if the usb3 header was removable from the front.

  has some flaws

Rosewill 5.1-Channel Vibrating Gaming Headset- USB Connector - RHTS-8206
Rosewill 5.1-Channel Vibrating Gaming Headset- USB Connector - RHTS-8206

Pros: Decent base Nice vibration feature Cord length is about 4 feet to the controller and another 2 to the headphones them self Controller is simple to use volume up and down, mic mute and speaker mute with a switch for vibration Mic clarity The software is decent but not perfect

Cons: The blue lights in the controller can be irritating at night Wish there were a clip on the back if the controller to hook onto clothes As stated below it must be plugged into a usb2 port a usb3 will not work properly Driver issues Weird effects from software if configured wrong Doesn't breathe from the cups

Overall Review: Initially i unbowed this, plugged it into a usb3 port on my computer and every few seconds the audio would drop out. Tried uninstalling the drivers multiple times but still nothing. Switched it to the usb2 on the back and it worked properly instantly. And those blue lights certainly can get annoying fast if your in a dark room or sleep with the computer in the same room. I noticed that even with a usb3 port running off a usb2 internal header that these didn't work either Overall not a bad set of headphones for 39.99

nice case

Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case
Corsair Carbide Series 500R Arctic White Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: Usb3.0 on the front, 4 fans, lots of room, removable hdd cages, tool less hdd and 5.25 drive bays. 8 expansion ports. The fans are near silent even from 1 foot away on high.

Cons: Dust filters, they do work but with the included fans are low cfm with the filters in place, Emily removed though. The switch to turn the leds on and off is a bit hard to press. The white power and hdd activity lights are bright especially in a dark room. The hdd tray is a bit loose if your using ssd

Overall Review: I ended up moving the front fans to the top of the case as extra exhaust fans and they helped lower my fx 6300's temps a few degrees. And to anyone that thinks they can add more fans to the installed controller, don't bother they use a special connector. And even though it says you can have 10 fans there it really is only practical to use 8 at most as the other two would be attached to the back of the hdd cage so there would be one in front and back of each cage.

another happy buy

Cooler Master i500 - 500W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Bronze Certification
Cooler Master i500 - 500W Power Supply with 80 PLUS Bronze Certification

Pros: I love it, the cpu cable is long enough to be able to be routed behind my motherboard in my corsair 500r case, with some extra wiggle room. Two individual sata lines with three connectors on each. A single 4 pin molex line with 3 connectors and a floppy connector at the end. A single pcie line with 2 6+2 connectors on it. The 20+4 pin is nicely sleeved with a single black mesh over the wires.

Cons: Kind of wish that the floppy connector was removable. And would've liked to see dual 4 pin molex strings instead of a single one. And would've liked the main power sleeved a little better, but for the price you can't beat it.

Overall Review: It powers my rig nicely: fx6300, 970 extreme4, 1tb hdd, 120gb ssd, 12gb ram, radeon hd 6750 and a lot of fans. Now just waiting on the rebate to come back and ill be even happier

it's works

KINGWIN ML-01 4 in. 4 Pin (M) to 3 Pin (F) Adapter Cable
KINGWIN ML-01 4 in. 4 Pin (M) to 3 Pin (F) Adapter Cable

Pros: It works like its supposed to.

Cons: A little short on the cable

Overall Review: For people using the molex fans with the tach input for the motherboard, you can take a small screwdriver and remove the yellow wire from that connector and put it in the empty one on this adapter so you can monitor the speed and be able to control the speed( motherboard permitting)
