140MM ??
Pros: Good fan with rubber mounting bracket to dampen vibration. Seems to run quiet for the few minutes that i ran it. This is an exhaust fan, not an input with no selection on the direction of airflow unless you mount it backwards.
Cons: The fan is a 140MM fan but the hole alignment is 120MM. If you have the room in your build it gives you a bigger fan in the same space. However, the fan is not square and the mount holes are inset so it needs some space around it to fit. This is not a 140MM fan. it is an up-sized 120MM. It will not fit a 140MM chassis mounting block.
Overall Review: Make sure you know what you are buying. This is not what it seems.
Stay Away From Gigabyte
Pros: I would like to be able to use the motherboard to see if there are any pro's.
Cons: The motherboard has a glitch and only runs for a few minutes. I contacted tech support and after an inordinately long time got an RMA and weeks later got back the same motherboard. I sent it in for RMA another time and told them the board was defective. I got the board back again and low and behold, yup the same motherboard. How hard is it to test a board and determine a defect? Stay away from Gigabyte. They will rip you off and send back the same defective board over and over.
Overall Review: I work for a computer services company and buy dozens of motherboards for systems. i have never had the problems with a company that I have from Gigabyte. Stay away from them and go with a company with integrity.
Disappointing given the name
Pros: Low cost for a monitor of this size. This is going into a closet as a head for multiple systems so there are very few requirements other than connectivity and price. Meets the needs...barely.
Cons: Two areas of dead pixels on first use. one a 2cm crescent shaped area and the second a 2cm horizontal slash. Image appears fuzzy and is not crisp and lacks the expected sharpness of a HANNS Monitor.
Overall Review: This is not the HANNS that i know. This is a cheap monitor that lacks any recognized features or value that traditional HANNS monitors have been known for. Spend the extra few dollars and buy a good monitor from another manufacturer. Shame on me for trying to save a few bucks and ignoring previous reviews. This one will remain a closet queen through its usable life and i will not shed any tears when it dies and is added to the scrap heap.
Total Junk
Pros: Small form factor, Inexpensive, uses off the shelf components.
Cons: Quit working after 1 day. Internal power board failed. This is not inexpensive, it is cheap. Poorly made, and not worth buying. I had modified the case to access the PCI slot so I cannot return. I will salvage the mother board and buy a better case and power supply and try again.
Overall Review: I bought this to make a Linux firewall. I did not need high performance so I thought this would suffice. I will buy better quality next time. Cheap does not equal inexpensive.
Does not work on Tyan S7020
Pros: Low Cost. Effective if it works
Cons: Only works on motherboards that allow a screw through the motherboard. The motherboard mount on my Tyan S7020 has screw threads in the motherboard. I cannot blame Zalman for this 100% but i wish they had indicated the mount type more precisely so that I could have checked before ordering.
Overall Review: it would be nice to have some standards with mounting. Each manufacturer loosley follows the standard leaving a lot of room for incompatible hardware that "works" on a socket type but is not compatible.
