Great mid tower for the buck

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: easy to set up simple wire managemet along side of motherboard impressive air flow with factory fan and added fans Three speed fans included cheap for the performance level plenty of room hardware is plentiful its pretty

Cons: slightly flimsy case panels a little difficult to install also depending on where second mobo power input (four six or 8 pin) is it may be just the right length.

Overall Review: Although not a "perfect" case this one is a great buy. To the right of the motherboard there are two notches to tie down the wiring where you can zip or velcro the harness in place. this maxumizing airflow. The fans is comes with are awesome, more then enough for conventional use. but if your goign to game or overclock with it. I recommend some 120x120x25 front and side fans. the only other thing is be mindful of how you handle the side panels, they are slightly flimsy. but if your looking to upgrade for cheap. this is the case. (its dang near a mirror of an antec 900)

Good Board for Mild Overclock or gaming

MSI X79A-GD45 PLUS-R LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Certified Refurbished
MSI X79A-GD45 PLUS-R LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Certified Refurbished

Pros: Heat sink package very good, Location of components, Sound quality, Fully digital Pwm phases, intuitive manual with great explanations, Sandy bridge E and Haswell support, PCI-E separation for 2 way SLI. PCI 3 and 2 slots available.

Cons: Poor overclock to competitors, Load line calibration function, Eufi Bios Mouse functions poorly, Overclocking assistant does not function well, Command center not to par, Poor PCI layout for 3 way SLI. PCI 3 and 3 slots dedicated. When water cooled GPU's are in place Routing is a pain.

Overall Review: Started off with this board and did my initial testing, all rock solid stable with factory tunings and operating 8*8*8*24 1t DDR3 1600 memory. After Overclocking a ways up I found this board was best stable at only 4.30ghz. The 3930k in question was known to sit at 4.70ghz on air. slightly disappointed with the results I turned to liquid cooling to attempt to get there and was disappointed. Was going to watercool the GPU's but after seeing how they would need to be installed Did not. However, This is a good board, It has its ups and downs But is a great stable platform for air cooled gaming rigs using haswell or SBE chips. and SLI on an air cooled bases,

High quality good product.

Enzotech LUNA Rev.A CPU Waterblock
Enzotech LUNA Rev.A CPU Waterblock

Pros: Its construction is fantastic, the block itself is well disigned and put together flawlessly, it cools A phenom 940 very well and is quiet. also looks good inside the case. the mounting bracket system used is a very good disign and makes for no removal of motherboard to exchange to remove the block.

Cons: The led light in the center of the waterblock is a cool feature but the issue with it is its a strobe light..... I personally cannot stand Bright flashing lights so it got turned off quickly.

Overall Review: there isn't much room for improvement on this certaing waterblock. It's well put together and does its job well.

Happy as a lark

ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe/HDMI AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 780a SLI HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe/HDMI AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA nForce 780a SLI HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Well where do I start, Usable bios, features, the thing that matters most to me is its durability and reliability. I like to overclock so its gone to the red on suicide runs and stayed there at full tilt and refuses to quit. Auto detects everything properly. heatpipe system keeps NB very cool and stable. onboard features(video, sound, Lan) are solid. and installation is a no brainer.

Cons: .... well I failed a bios update... Operater error though. Nothing is wrong with the board.

Overall Review: Cannot Wait to try out the Crosshair Three. If its anything this board was it will be great.

Sad day for a great product

ARCTIC COOLING Accelero Xtreme 9800 Fluid Dynamic VGA Cooler
ARCTIC COOLING Accelero Xtreme 9800 Fluid Dynamic VGA Cooler

Pros: great construction and well disigned, excellent amount of parts given to do job properly, better then most instruction and high grade of aluminum and copper used to manufacture product.

Cons: Does not fit on a 9800gt and chances are it doesn't fit on everythink that newegg states on the specifications list. acording to the manufacture it is disigned to fit on the 9800 gtx and the 9800 gtx+. It was a Huge disappointment sense I had to wait about a day for some new thermal pads for the cards ram due to removing them to attempt to fit the cooler.

Overall Review: Well I wish the facts on the specs were straight before I ordered this. As far as AC is concerned they do not diserve any criticism for this product. the only issue I have is its not the correct part for the application its stated. (note: the reason it will not fit is due to the coompacitors that Nvidia used on there latest 9800gt) Im not going to knock Artic cooling for the matter, so I gave the product 5 eggs.

Great memory, Stable overclocked

Mushkin Enhanced Redline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996593
Mushkin Enhanced Redline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996593

Pros: Fast, overclockable, Stable at Tight and loose Timing, Able to run at 1066 no problem, and Looks cool in a case. Got mine to run up too 1150 With loser timing around 5-7-7-18-36 but its slightly slower memory at those timings but stable as all get out. Alow's my Phenom II to run at 3.6 ghz on OccT linpak Stable one hour and never gets hot at all under Full load. Mushkin hit yet another home run. :D

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Its not Mushkins Issue but this memory has an odd Frequency. The past two mobo's its been in Its always picked it up at ddr2 800. simple Fix, Just told it that the stuff is ddr2 1066, Moved the voltage to 2.10, set the factory timings and everything was good.
