Great Quality - Impossible to sort out description/photos

CRU 6650-5000-0500 Rhino JR RJR110 Removable Hard Drive Enclosure, SATA 3Gb/s Interface, Black,
CRU 6650-5000-0500 Rhino JR RJR110 Removable Hard Drive Enclosure, SATA 3Gb/s Interface, Black,

Pros: It's NOT obvious from photos or the description or the manufacturers site but this is probably the best quality product out there for transferring your 3.5 inch SATA II internal HHD to/from your desktop. What CRU/Newegg calls an enclosure (THIS PRODUCT - Newegg item #N82E16817998086) is what mounts into your computer case and it includes the tray/carrier for the removal of actual HDD. What CRU calls a carrier is what everyone else calls a tray. When you buy this particular item you will get both. This enclosure is heavy gauge aluminum. The carrier (tray) is also heavy gauge aluminum and comes with a cover and will surround the HDD giving it the best protection I've seen in any product of this type. The tray-less swap is fast but if you actually need to protect the HDD when it's outside of the computer, this tray/carrier surrounds the drive on 5 sides (open back of necessity). Even the handle that locks the carrier in place is cast aluminum. Bombproof construction for critical storage

Cons: The pictures and product description are horrible at helping to sort out what actually is included in this product. The Newegg photos are confusing and CRU isn't much better. I'd love to deduct eggs from this for the wretched description, photos and terminology but in fact, it is a superb product. My only minor gripe is that there is a flip up door in the enclosure when the carrier is out (say, in the safe) but it's indented about an inch. It's OK at keeping out dust etc but I don't like the look. I'll likely buy a separate carrier/tray (Newegg item number N82E16817998162) and keep it in place without a HDD to finish off the computer build.

Overall Review: This thing would sell much better if Newegg (let alone CRU the MANUFACTURER!!!) actually had photos showing the different components and how they assemble as well as descriptions that don't seem deliberately confusing. For example, the photo for the carrier and the enclosure are the same. There is no photo of the carrier in relation to the enclosure. There is no photo of the carrier with it's "lid" on. I finally just bought this product blind and figured I'd sort out what was included once I got it. It's ridiculous to treat a customer that way. No wonder this product has never been reviewed.

Great Case and REBATE!!!

Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case
Antec Nine Hundred Two V3 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Pros: This is my 3rd ANTEC case and they keep getting better. I installed water cooling this build and really appreciated the cut out in the the back of the motherboard in order to install the cooler mounting. My last build I upgraded my cooler and had to pull everything in order to remove the motherboard to install cooler mounting (because I didn't have a cutout behind the CPU in the original Antec 900). Cable management cutouts works great with lots of room under the motherboard mounting plate for running cables. I submitted the rebate on July 19 and received the check on September 16. Antec rebate documentation said the payment would require 60 days and they successfully paid me on time. Thanks Antec!

Cons: The case has a pre-installed location to install a 2.5" SSD. That's the good part. However, it's on the very bottom of the case. Granted, it's out of the way and since SSDs do not require cooling it frees up space for HDDs etc behind the fans. It's very difficult to access the SSD and almost impossible to plug into after it's mounted in place. It could be better designed. I also really wish removing the removable drive caddies didn't require taking off the sides. It makes cleaning the air filters a bit cumbersome. I think the Dark Fleet series are unlockable from the front but that's the only improvement I can think of. On the other hand, it's not something I have to do often. Otherwise, I love the case.

Bombproof quality! Wretched photos and description.

CRU DataPort Rhino JR RJR110 6651-5000-0500 Carrier Only, SATA 3Gb/s, Black

Pros: This item is what everyone else calls tray. It is superb quality heavy gauge aluminum with even a cast aluminum handle for locking it in place. You MUST already own/buy the "rack/converter/enclosure" (Newegg item # N82E16817998086) to swap a HDD out with your computer. This carrier comes with a lid so that the HDD is surrounded on all sides by aluminum (except the back where it plugs in) giving it a good amount of protection.

Cons: The Newegg photos are MISLEADING!!!!! This item is the carrier (tray) but the photos are all of the enclosure with only the front of the carrier showing in 1 of the 4. The other 3 photos are of the wrong part. They do not show this item at all. This item is turned on/off with a key (something else to lose/keep track of). I really wish it came with just a switch.

Overall Review: Note that Newegg item # N82E16817998086, the enclosure, will already come with one of these. There is a flip up door indented about an inch to keep out dust etc when the carrier is out of the computer. I don't like how it looks. I'd buy one of there and keep it in place without a HDD installed.

$40 (less $4) Rebate arrived

MSI GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card N460GTX Hawk

Pros: I sent in the rebate on 8/18 and the AMEX card arrived on 9/12. I gave up $4 to get the "No Wait 2 Week" processing so my amount was for $36. Thank you MSI! I have to put something in CONS but the typical rebate wait I have with other manufacturers is 2 months! This rebate was FAST in comparison! Did I mention the card is fabulous?!?!

Cons: Despite the "No Wait 2 Week" processing claim it actually took longer. Give MSI 3 days or so until the forms arrived, it took just over 3 weeks to get the rebate to me even with the No Wait service fee. Still it was way faster than anyone else.

Overall Review: MSI's online system allowed me to monitor rebate progress. That was a great feature.

Oops- forgot to mention the REBATE

Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-750 750W ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V v2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible

Pros: I bought this PS on July 8, 2011 and received/cashed my rebate check on September 2. ANTEC's description originally claimed processing would be 60 days. They sent me an e-mail about a month ago saying they had a LOT of rebates to process but they were working on it. Even with the workload, they made their 60 day target. Thanks ANTEC!

Cons: 54 days is a pretty long time but ALL rebates regardless of whatever company, take a long time to process.

Great performance for Unbelievable $

Pros: I had my doubts buying this since with the rebate it was soooo inexpensive. My last PS was an ANTEC Signature, the other $ extreme. The PS is much more important than most amateur builders realize and I do NOT mean assuming the bigger wattage is better. I did my homework and read through reviews looking at efficiency vs output and ripple and voltages and rail design etc. The performance of this PS is very good. It's made for ANTEC by DELTA. This is a sure sign of quality and it's what convinced me to buy this PS. My former Signature had the best performance specs of any PS made at the time (and probably the highest stinking $$$!) and it was also made by DELTA.

Cons: Non-modular plug-ins but Hey, what do want considering the price. Still, the plug in length is unusually long making it easy to route wiring out of the way. Almost all of my plug-ins are in use (except for the second graphics card plug in because I'm still too broke after the build to buy the second card). If all the plug ins are in use, there is no necessity for modular.
