Pros: Price-$489 bucks! Thanks NEWEGG OPEN BOX! Sure it didn't come with the original box but I got the card with all the original accessories. Speed/Power-MAN THIS THING IS FAST!! I've been gaming with a single EVGA GTX 760 4gb FTW for about a year now. It served all my needs at 1080p on my 60 inch plasma screen tv. Overclocked with almost every game at max settings, with ABSOLUTELY NO ANTI-ALISING (I don't believe in it at 1080p and higher. TURN YOUR SHARPNESS TO ZERO) and keeping PHYSX turned off, (except on the older games.) I was getting a constant 60fps in all my games. But UNBELIEVABLE! When I installed this bad boy, like an earlier reviewer said, EVERY GAME FELT CHANGED. I can now MAX OUT EVERY GAME ( I still don't use anti-aliasing) and every game runs sooo fast it is ridiculous. I can't explain it...The characters and the general movement of everything on screen has completely SPED UP! Sometimes to frightening speeds. I hooked up 3 1080p plasma screen tv's to this thing and it STILL ran all my games at max settings and 60fps. Crazy. Overclocking-A lot of dual gpu cards don't overclock that well but this one is different. Using the Asus GPU TWEAK software that came with it I was able to comfortably raise the gpu and memory clock quite a bit higher than the default factory overclock the card shipped with, especially with the memory. This resulted in vastly increased performance in all of my games and I'm pretty sure that influenced the speed aspect I spoke about earlier. Looks and Build Quality-It is a gorgous card. Pulsating Red LED MARS logo was a nice touch. Just like the website and promos said this card was build with top notch components and it shows. No joke. They even threw on a backplate and even though my old card was the most powerful 760 evga made, it didn't even come with a back plate. Thanks Asus.

Cons: Heat-It is a dual GPU card so expect your power consumption and temperature to go up inside your case. Keeping those dual 760 gpu cool involves exhausting all that excess heat into your case. Memory-Only 2gb. Remember guys 4gb of ram total on board but only 2gb is usable due to the other 2gb going to the frame buffer. I wouldn't recommend this card for anything higher than one or two resolutions above 1080p and still keep great fps performance Which leads me to my next con... Price- Even though I got this card for a reduced price I feel like the regular price of this card is a tad bit much. I mean currently one Asus GTX 760 2gb is $259 sooo naturally adding another would bring up the price to $518. Why in the blue dynasty of creation is the price $639 bucks?? Is it because Asus was like "Hey....we gave you something that didn't exist before. We did the work so...yeah." Either way for only 2gb of usable memory that's a bit much.

Overall Review: This card is just like the Nvidia GTX 690 except for a much cheaper price, better cooling and higher stock factory clocks. Not stronger. But definitely close. Especially after overclocking this beast you will probably have the performance of a strait out the box none overclocked GTX 690. The Overclocked Mars 760 has beaten a lot of the 780 TI's on the market from what I've seen and read and if you can keep it cool, you won't be let down. I highly recommend this card to anyone. I couldn't even imagine using two of them. I'm gonna be riding the 1920x1080 train till the wheels fall off guys. A 4k tv or monitor is WAY too expensive and way to immature at the moment to even consider until we start seeing them pop up at Wal-Mart. I paid $500 bucks for my 60 inch plasma and until 4k hits that level of adaptation. This card will last me for YEARS AND YEARS to come.

Pros: This is my very first AMD card. I had an HD 7990 for a week but it was defective so that doesn't count. So coming from Nvidia I heard about all the negative press that AMD was getting. Bad drivers, poor performance in reviews. All that junk. Let me tell you right now THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH USING AMD!!! I'm a believer. I have come from being an Nvidia user for 2 years and found their products to be very very good but at the same time I HAD to see what the competition was bringing to the the table plus that whole GTX 970 3.5gb fiasco annoyed me. So here I am. This card is POWERFUL. 512bit memory bus running 8gb of VRAM. I can max out all my games on a 1080p Plasma TV and throw mods at em to the moon with no problem and a achieve a constant 60fps. More stream processors than my dual 760's and 970. Now I must let you in on a secret. I don't use ANY UN-NESSARY FILTERS in my games AT ALL. So anti-alising, motion blur, film grain, depth of field and any camera effect used to simulate camera lens defects. Its just down right silly to use that stuff. Kills your performance for no reason. TAKE MY ADVICE. So since I have all this free headroom I gave the Virtual Super Resolution feature of the card a shot and now I play THE MAJORITY of my games at 3200x1800 at 60fps. Utterly FANTASTIC. 5,760,000 pixels vs the 2,073,600 pixels of regular 1920x1080. No need for anti-aliasing when you can just INCREASE THE RESOLUTION! I used MSI Afterburner to overclock the card with maximum voltage, full power and an aggressive fan curve. My results are GPU:1140 Memory:1700 Very good results but boy oh boy wait till I talk about the side result of that performance in the Cons section. But the performance put me in 1st place in the 3d Mark Firestrike boards for my processor (I7-3770@4.5ghz) and GPU combination. Oh and this card was large but still fit in my Cooler Master Elite 130 mini itx case. Fans rubbed against the side of the case though. Had to bang it out with a hammer to make a small dent to give the fans clearance. Card looks like a monster too. Very beefy. Like a muscle car. A clean one at that.

Cons: HEAT! OH MY-THE HEAT! I knew AMD cards were warm but MAN this is crazy. I had to man up and open up my case to make sure EVERY FAN was set to exhaust and make sure my cable management was PERFECT. This could all be due to the size of my case I know, but my Nvidia cards weren't this intense. I'm probably gonna have to down clock the gpu a tad bit. At 100% fan speed while playing TitanFall maxed out at 3200x1800 the card got to 84c! I had to just exit the match and return to desktop. The card began throttling down. It was too much. I run all my case fans at max speed always. Also if you don't disable all power saving features for this card with Afterburner it will dynamically adjust your clocks in game to low speeds based on gpu load. I know AMD does this to save on power and reduce heat but this is a serious problem that can kill your fps in games. Finally the AMD control panel is useless for games. I had to download Radeon Pro to properly force V-sync in a couple of key titles that I play. Once again with Nvidia this was not an issue. Control Panel was great. Finally because of the heat issues I had to increase the fan speed naturally and man this thing is LOUD. If you got on headphones or a good surround sound system then cool but do everything in your power to keep the fans from having to go from 80-100% cuz its gonna sound like a blow dryer. Even at 70% its really audible.

Overall Review: All in all I had to subtract an egg for the card. I didn't wanna do it because the performance and price is awesome but looking at this card from the perspective of someone who may not know anything about gpu shopping or even that much about graphics tweaking; These issues need to be addressed and could be a problem for those who simply wanna hook up and play and expect everything to just work flawlessly but all in all after you get past the little snags this card made me believe in AMD as a viable solution to not just gaming but other things as well. I will be looking more into their products for now on and I dunno...I think my next card will probably be AMD again. We'll see...Boy if their next tier of high performance graphics are even stronger than this...I may go for the Fury or Fury X when I get a 4k Television. As long as the price is right.
