Pros: Fits into the pocket easily. Durable. Starts up quick and has good battery life
Cons: This is the second Canon powershot I've owned, and they both developed the same problem. Something happens with the lens where black splotches - probably dust or something - will show up on every picture. If I zoom in, the splotches become dark black, and this has ruined a great deal of my photos. About 6 months into owning it, I got a lens error malfunction every time I turned it on, and could not use the camera after that. (curiously, the lens actually worked in frozen weather)
Other Thoughts: I did find somewhat of a fix for the blotches using photoshop. Since blotches are the same on every picture, I'll take a blank photo - of either cloudless sky, or a closeup of a white wall or something, so that the only thing in the picture are the blotches. I'd take that picture, desaturate, invert it, then paste as layer above every picture I took, and set that layer to "Overlay" - this gets rid of most of the blotches.

Pros: Compact: smaller than a deck of cards. Great optical zoom. Lightweight but sturdy. Good low-light performance. Easy to manipulate. Low price for the performance.
Cons: Lack of shooting options; this is primarily a fully-automatic camera, but if you have basic photo editing skills, no big deal.
Other Thoughts: It offers 20 MP and is much easier to use than a cell phone. A great alternative to snapshots. You'll have to do image editing and uploading via a desktop or laptop, but the quality of photos is so much better than your average cellphone, or even the high end ones.

Pros: Takes great photos. Has a panoramic feature that, after you take 4 photos, the camera stitches them together to form 1. It has many different features for different situations.
Cons: I do not see any cons.
Other Thoughts: The battery is not a AA or AAA, but it is a removable battery. If you purchase 1 or 2 extra batteries for the day you should be fine. Plus the battery can be charged via USB, or an outlet.

Pros: WIFI and Canon photo storage software suite.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this product then found it advertised cheaper at a retail outlet before it was delivered. I contacted customer support and included the url to the retailer with a note I wanted the difference in a in store gift card. Guess what? In less than four business days I had my email with a gift card included!!!! I got me something else at newegg and it didn't cost me anything. WTG Newegg customer service! Happy Newegger here. :)

Pros: Wide-angle lens, fantastic zoom lens, small compact size. Great starter camera for you tubers and enthusiast. The small compact size makes for easy set up.
Cons: No Wi-Fi capability, would benefit from a flip out viewscreen for ease of setup for single operation, the plastic case is somewhat noisy when when handling and blogger style. There is no external audio hookup for example shotgun mics and attachments.
Other Thoughts: For the price point of this camera, functions offered with the widescreen and zoom, it's very capable camera. And with the HD capability and 1080 P you can produce quite decent video work.

Pros: When it works, its a good camera. We have another. I just would not by a refurbished one.
Cons: This was a refurbished camera and did not last one year before developing a spot on what I think is one of the inner lens. Anyway, you get a spot on all of your pictures. In my view, I should have lasted longer. I would not buy again.
