5 out of 5 eggsRemarkable

Pros: This is one beautifully made product. I have built many computers and think this case is great. Its construction is very sturdy and there is plenty of room to work with. There are no sharp edges to speak of. The fans keep the case cool in my hot garage at near minimum setting making it wisper quite.

Cons: No clear mounting point for the temperature sensor. I had to just let it dangle. Fans at full speed sound like a vacuum cleaner. Feet stick out the sides, I prefer rubber feet on the bottom.

Other Thoughts: Buy this case it is worth it.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Tough, attractive, and discreetly cool build. 120mm fans with Variable speed fan control work well and do their job, and for the most part the screwless assembly components are reliable and relatively easy to work with. The placement of the power switch/USB's and Firewire on the top of the case is a nice touch, as well, if you don't like bending over to plug in your peripherals. Most importantly, it's a tough, attractive midtower case with plenty of room.

Cons: The plastic front panel, despite the cool LED temp control, is a pain to remove and replace, which is necessary when installing optical drives and front panel controls. The screwless hard drive rails do not hold together when transporting the hard drive to another bay, so do not hold them by the rails (I'm sure this will be obvious if you do it yourself, but it slipped by me somehow). Lastly, the manual is awful. However, the screwless assembly and wiring shouldn't be too difficult to figure out on one's own.

Other Thoughts: The screwless fan bays increase the noise level of the 120mm fans. This is not a complaint, as they are completely optional.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Nice sturdy metal case. As it gets on in age, it should take a beating as I get mad at it (can't say the same for my cheapo plastic Alienware case).

I like not having to screw drives into the case, this makes installing and switching very easy.

The LCD temperature guage and fan controls make it easy keep the casse cool.

Cons: The front door is plastic, but no worries about that. Like previously mentioned the door also needs to be removed to add drives. Once I got the hang of it though, it wasn't that bad.

The cords for the USB and audio ports in the front aren't as long as I would like them to be. My motherboard has them plugged in all the way across the case, so they sit very close to my video cards.

The side mounting hard drive case is nice for installing, but not for hiding cables.

The location of the power button, while convenient, can also be a burden. It's in a position that would be too easily pushed on accident.

Other Thoughts: I don't know what people are installing in their top 5.25" bays, but my DVD drive fit just fine, without any cable pinching.

3 out of 5 eggsExpected Better

Pros: Fan control, digital readout, placement of power and USB panel.

Cons: Overall feel is cheap. Temp display cover was all scratched up on mine. Door made of flimsy plastic. Found masking tape on the tangle of wires leading to the front panel (used electrical tape to clean up the wires). Need to remove front panel to install 5.25 drives. Don't trust screwless card holder.

Other Thoughts: I spent alot of time looking for a decent case and settled on this one. I was dissapointed. I've owned cheaper cases that were better made and were less of a hassle.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT CASE

Pros: Great sturdy case, cool design, great cooling, awesome controls, and it's user friendly

Cons: The knobs are like 2XX degrees of movement, but only like 30 degrees of it turns the fan up or down.

Other Thoughts: Great case, you will be happy with it.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Quality is outstanding, looks great, gives that pro feeling of a server case. The USB ports, Audio, Firewire and power button on the front top is an excellent feature.

Cons: Temperature display and sensor are a joke. Don't buy this case if the temp sensor is what attracts you the most. You will be disappointed.
Air filter should have been made easier to remove for cleaning. (need to remove the front face of the case to get to it)

Other Thoughts: This case is great
This is my first Thermaltake. Compared to my last case (Raidmax) and all the other cheapy 35 bucks cases with PS i sold to my customers, it is a night to day difference.
Everything fits great, and no screws are needed for the drives.
The things that help you support the drives have rubber in place of the screws that reduce the drive to case noice that you get when securing the drives to the case.
The temperature sensor is useless... i think it is designed for old CPUs. there is no way to attach the thing close enough to the cpu to give any accurate reading. And the instructions in the manual dont even exist. Just a short "figure it out yourself" cheap explanation about setting the limits for the alarm.
The sensor makes you believe to put it between the cpu and the heat sink.. but if you do this.. you will get the CPU fried.
Fans are noisy at full speed and make no real difference in my temps compared to low speed.

There is a nice air filter in the front.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Temperature Display, Sturdy case design (feels like it has a lot of quality behind it) awesome air flow with adjustable fan speeds.

Cons: Fan RPM sensors that plug into m/b are a bit weak and mine errored not really a big deal at all though could happen to any case. Would have been nice to have had two temperature sensors present on the case and on the LCD display.

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake made a quality product with this case. It's sturdy and tough. The LCD panel is nice for indicating system temperature and variable fan speed control is nice on extra hot days or days you need quiet!

4 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: Has Two huge 120mm fans that can be controlled plus has the monitoring screen which helps it stay very cool. its also small which is a plus.

Cons: The case is a little flimsy. There is no removal MB tray. Also in order to install any optical drives you must take off the front panel.

Other Thoughts: Good case a few faults but overall a good buy.

4 out of 5 eggsCheap price, good quality

Pros: Lock is unique, plenty of room, variable speed fans, super cool.

Cons: original temp sensor was bad, replaced it and worked fine.

Other Thoughts: power light is anoying, so if you have this case on the floor you'll want to put somthing over it.

5 out of 5 eggsCase review

Pros: Well made case. Easy to build my system. No flaws that I found in my case. I like the placement of the USB/Mic jacks on the top front. My old Thermaltake Tsunami case I couldn't acces the top jacks because my monitor shelf covered them up.

Cons: Maybe needs a cover for the USB/Mic jacks. Wide open for dust collection.
