4 out of 5 eggsGreat Board

Pros: Good board for upgrade, can use DDR400 memory and IDE drives x 2 ports so 4 devices. PCIe does support PCI 16 even though some reviews say no. I am running at PNY 6600 at 16

Cons: Only 2 PCI slots, I did no buy from new egg and first one died but second is great.

5 out of 5 eggsCrazy Cool

Pros: Great board, worked like a charm. Much better than my old board.
Small form factor, fits nice in my mid sized case.
On board graphics, (see below).

Cons: No AGP slot, I'll have to get a PCI-E card.
But I knew that before I bought.

Other Thoughts: Love it being in blue...

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: good MB for the price, can use ddr1 memory(why I bought it)

Cons: be sure to check abits website for processor support, have to email there CS because board wasnt listed on there processor sopport page, only works with very few Celoron D and pentium D chips, never checked on C2D sopport

Other Thoughts: emailing abit tech sopport takes about 2 weeks to get a responce, Good MB but terrible customer service

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Replacement

Pros: Supports both old and new

Cons: Lacks some features

Other Thoughts: I had a socket A mother bord that was going out. I wanted to replace it with some thing that could support dual core but wanted to keep my RAM. Worked like a charm. Can't use my AGP card but I could use a PCI-e card.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mobo!

Pros: Great mobo for the price, I like the BIOS.

Cons: video is only 64MB but i do not play any games or anything that needs more than that.

Other Thoughts: The people complaining about this mobo not being so hot b/c they overclocked it are fools, you need a really high end mobo to overclock well....and even then i still think overclocking is stupid.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap, Fast at default speeds, can use DDR1/

Cons: No voltage settings, will corrupt SATA drives when oveclocking the FSB.

Other Thoughts: Too bad nobody has come up with a decent Core 2 board that can handle some mild overclocking and support DDR1. They would sell a lot if there was one.

1 out of 5 eggsMissing parts

Pros: Didn't need anything special. Ordered two motherboards. The one I can use works fine.

Cons: One motherboard was missing the plate that snaps onto the case. I've been waiting almost a month for ABIT rma to contact me. Horrible customer support with ABIT. I now have to spend even more money shipping this motherboard back as an RMA.

3 out of 5 eggsWatch out for....

Pros: Capable of ddr or ddr2 and of course its ABIT.

Cons: Apparently this board due to the northbridge only works at x4 for the pci-e. I was having a bad lag in F.E.A.R. and Rainbow Six Vegas so I posted to a well known forum and it seems the chipset, even though stated at x16, only runs at x4.

Other Thoughts: For those thinking it was probably my system here are my specs which are well within the recommended for those games:
Pentium d 945 3.4
2gb ocz s.o.e ddr2 667
HIS x1650 pro 512mb

Something else to keep in mind is this board only supports ddr2 at 533. I bought this because I was orginally going to use my old ram then changed my mind. I am rma'ing this board for the GIGABYTE GA-8N-SLI.

2 out of 5 eggsNo.

Pros: When it worked, it wasnt' too bad.
Supports older and newer technology, great stepping stone.

Cons: My graphics card performed better on a dell motherboard? and this motherboard died after two days use. First windows would not boot, then would not boot from disc, removed vc, used onboard, same problem, onboard died, then bios froze, then it would not get to bios.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I got a bad one, but im not willing to try, RMA 'ing it, and buying A$US like i should have done in the first place. May have to spend more money at first, but it will work.
*Used with E6400 Processor.
