3 out of 5 eggsAGP EXPRESS ??

Pros: Looking very hard at this motherboard

Cons: AGP EXPRESS "see below"

Other Thoughts: Looked forever to find what AGP express is-"AGP Express. This is not a true AGP interface, but rather a way to allow an AGP card to be connected over the PCI bus. It is a technology found on ECS motherboards, and is used as a selling point for AGP card owners who want a new motherboard but do not want to be forced to buy a PCI Express graphics card as well (most new motherboards do not provide AGP slots, only PCI Express slots). An "AGP Express" slot is basically two PCI slots wired together in the AGP form factor. While it offers backward compatibility with AGP cards, its disadvantages include incomplete support (some AGP cards do not work with AGP Express) and reduced performance (the card is forced to use the shared PCI bus at its lower bandwidth, rather than having exclusive use of the faster AGP)." Hope that helps others like it helped me.

2 out of 5 eggsAGP port is of no use

Pros: The board worked fine if you use the onboard video.

Cons: The AGP port will not work with any of the 4 different AGP cards (Nvidia and ATI) that I tried at AGP 1x/2x/4x/8x speeds. Any old or new game that I tried to run with an AGP card ran much slower than the onboard Intel Extreme video to play; and the onboard video is not good enough for any decent game.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure if this board had a faulty AGP port or what. There were no options that reflected the AGP port in the bios. The only bios that I could find was the original bios, and it only has very basic options.

4 out of 5 eggsBoard to not run as advertised

Pros: Istallation was an ease..Installed no problems. Seems to be a stable board so far.

Cons: the specs on this board does meet standards or specs they have advetised on(ESC-elitegouupe) website. The memory does not run @400Mhz Dual Channel. After runnign some test with Sandra. It looks like the board only runs at 333Mhz and bechmarks @ 3.2 GB/s. far from dual channel speed.Memory frequencies shown in BIOS only gives (3) options (266Mhz,333Mhz,and Auto)which leads me to believe this board does not support 400 Mhz-Dual Channel, as advertised.

Other Thoughts: As a sidenote this board does run very well.

5 out of 5 eggsMotherboard is a rock!

Pros: Upgrade the system with this motehrboard and Intel Pentium 4 640 CPU. System runs perfect. No trouble.

Cons: If the motherboard is Full ATX, it will be wonderful.

Other Thoughts: Price is the first consideration for this motherboard. Quality is not bad. At least, the system is pretty stable.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Intel board.

Pros: My old eMachine just passed away. I try to keep some old parts to upgarde the system. This motherboard just fit in the case. Re-install the operating system and runs fine right now. IT's great!

Cons: The front panel header on the motherboard doesn't match the wire inside the emachine. I have to seperate the wire in order to connect to the front panel header.

Other Thoughts: Resonable price. Great features. No complaint!

1 out of 5 eggsFailed miserably

Pros: Not so much

Cons: Failed

Other Thoughts: Had this board in service at a client for a couple of weeks. It stopped booting, no beeps, no video, and trashed the data on the harddrive. Wonderful.

2 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Impressive options on paper. For mini ATX the layout was decent. NewEgg's quick shipment as always.

Cons: Unfortunately it was DOA, thus the poor rating. Threre is a capacior very close to to the CPU socet making it tough to use some 3rd party CPU heatsinks that are much wider than the stock heatsink. The motherboard PCB is thinner by quite a bit. Will need to use a sturdy case.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple socket T board

Pros: I like the motherboard with simple features. It's not necessary to come with a lot of accessoris which I don't need it. This motherboard just fit my choice. Build the system and run. IT's that easy to get the new system

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: good price and good board.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Mobo

Pros: Decent price for a decent mobo. I bought this board to go with a intel pentium d 805 processor. Easy installation. Had it shipped using FedEx express saver, and was at my doorstep two days before the estimated arrival date.

Cons: Had to move a hard drive so I could connect it to the board. Other then , there are no other cons.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: good board for building a cheap entry level or business type system - data entry, word processing, websurfing & such

Cons: lousy overclocking options. seems to be DOG slow with a Pentium D 805. dual core works fine but single thread processes (like mpg->xvid conversion) are slower than my barton 2500

Other Thoughts: going to try a bios update, also ordered another brand mb to test the 805 with because right now it's not nearly enough bang/buck
