1 out of 5 eggsUSE ANOTHER DRIVER 4 FLICKERING!!! READ THIS AND FOLLOW THE LINK FOR THE DOWNLOAD!

Pros: This card was a great buy for the money, considering how much more the 8800 series cards are right now. (or were when I bought my card, prices came down, oh well) Evga's step up program makes it possible to upgrade in the future, though... which is great, considering you can handle being without a card while the upgrade is being processed. You also must save everything that came with the card to trade up... anyways...
This card is insanely faster than my old xfx 6800gs AGP with all 16 pipelines and shaders unlocked and overclocked to the 6800ultra speeds... this card just blows that old one away. When playing games or video editing, I'm very happy. However...

Cons: ...The original driver 71.1 that came with the card causes only one of my 2 dvi lcd screens to flicker when doing simple things like browsing files in my win xp SP2 folders. ESPECIALLY when updating folders full of thumbnailed video clips, like I have many of when editing videos. Not ONLY did the screen flicker, but the fan would come on FULL and the fan is LOUD on high!(ok on low tho) This was ANNOYING THE bleep out of me. I tried R*vat*ner to adjust the fan speed, no luck. I tried updating to the latest drivers from nvidia's website, that didn't help. I thought it could be a codec related issue, so I uninstalled EVERY single video codec on my machine, and was still getting the problem. I was about to wipe the OS, but I thought I'd try a modded driver. I stumbled upon some forums of people with the same problem, and they mentioned not to use the original forceware drivers anymore. I found the driver below, and it SOLVED THE PROBLEMS 100%! Download it at the link below, trust me on thi

5 out of 5 eggsGreat card

Pros: Got this because I liked the look and my step-grandfather (has more build experience then me) suggested it as a good card. So happy with the result in playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Oblivion that I got another one to run in SLI.

Cons: None as of yet

Other Thoughts: I’m thinking of replacing the stock heat sink with a zalman to cut down on the heat a bit.

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent performance/price ratio

Pros: runs nice and cool. universally supported. Great Value for SLI since one card will run nearly everything out there (though I haven't tried Vista and DX10 yet) and two cards rival a single 8800 in performance at a significant discount.

Cons: none that I can think of except for scarcity when trying to buy my second card for SLI.

Other Thoughts: evga is a great company. My GF bought a 7300 for her barebones linux box and had a defective fan. getting a replacement was super easy and there was minimal fuss. Also there's evga's famous upgrade plan.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great card. Have a 7900GTO in another computer so decided to stay with EVGA. Could not get another GTO so went with the 7950GT.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Compared to retail in a store plus fast delivery from Newegg equals customer satisfaction.

5 out of 5 eggsHad to replace that other brand!

Pros: The drivers worked. I say that's a pro because "the other guy"s drivers were awful and there was no support. NVidia is right on track. The card is faster, more stable, draws less power, and...well...does everything better than the competition's equivalent. The control panel is easy to navigate and offers useful information, it hasn't peaked 52C yet, with all settings maxxed on WoW (only at 1440x900 res), steady 60+ fps.

Cons: None yet. Not a single crash in the first 3 weeks of heavy use.

Other Thoughts: I love the fan. It only kicks on when the vid card is gearing up for heat. As soon as you are just idling through the internet again, it spins back down and is deathly quiet. Like I said above, I built this machine with no bias towards any manufacturer...but I have one now that I've had the hassles that come with poor support and development from the other guy. NVidia all the way now.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Card

Pros: It scores an impressive 20600 in 3dmark2003 running under Vista 32-bit with the 158.18 Forceware drivers. EVGA is an excellent company also; this is my 4th EVGA card (6600GT, 6800, 6800GT, 7800GS, and 7950GT) All of these cards came with a lifetime warranty. I had to RMA the 6600GT; however, the EVGA support was absolutely fabulous! They have a step up program, and I got the 6800 card.

Cons: It was not cheap!

Other Thoughts: Newegg shipped it out quickly, and my card arrived very fast. I have been a Newegg customer for years because they really take care of me. Every time I have had a suggestion or problem (very rare), they took care of me. Newegg is simply the best, and I will continue to buy exclusively from them. The shipping is free (or very fair), no tax, and there are good people standing by to help. It simply can't get better! Thanks Newegg! This was my gift to myself for maintaining a 4.0 GPA is a Systems Engineering Masters degree.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Graphic Performance

Pros: I was daunted for a short while expecting everything in FSX to play off like a movie. However once I learned more I realized that the water effects setting were nearly my only short coming and that in fact I had a lot more going for both quality and performance with this card. I also learned that there is not a PC built today that will run that program with all setting maxed. The card is tops, any way you look at it. It will not have the performance of the 8800's with 98 stream proc, it only has 24, but my 7100 only had 4. Only draw back is, I had to get over wanting to put the simulator on pause and save a screen shot every time I turned around. Movies, great job too, in Vista's MCE, does wonderful. Drivers are a little bit of a struggle for Vista's arrival, the real far out bragging rights; dual monitors and the like. Drivers are stable and just updated from nVIDIA.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: FlightSimulatorX service pack 1 was released a few days ago, the first since the programs release. I installed it to my Vista platform and my eVGA 7950GT is taking on more of that all too good stuff, that makes a beautiful wonder of everything. Learned to monitor Frame Rates in the app (ctrl+z twice)will produce avge.24-34 and 12-19 loaded, large airport etc. Double those numbers on Instant Replay (when its worth it) good landing etc.

5 out of 5 eggsOh Yeah

Pros: Extremely well with games I have almost no problem at all with this card. I even over clocked it queit a bit.

Cons: The fan is a little annoying but I replaced it with an after market cooler and it works beautifully.

Other Thoughts: planning to go SLI in about a month w/ my system:
EVGA NF63, E6600, 75GB SCSI, 250GB SATA. cant wait

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: Lifetime warranty through EVGA, can you go wrong with that?

Cons: I have noticed none.

Other Thoughts: I'm not much of a noise snob when it comes to fans and all, so I hardly notice it. I've got two of these in my system now and I love it, I play everything on full options and my CPU is where the only bottleneck is now.

I've got a fan between the two cards, so the temps stay very reasonable for me, even after marathon game sessions.

I am not disappointed at all with my buy.

2 out of 5 eggsFast Card but it has problems...

Pros: Fast Card, I can play any of my games at max settings. Nice drivers compared to ATI.

Cons: This card is not suitable for a dual monitor setup. The card makes your monitor (it skips between each monitor) flicker like crazy when you open a folder that has video thumbnails. I sent the card in for an RMA and the second one did the same thing. Funny thing is it never flickers under stress or in games just loading video thumbnails. Also the fan is annoying.

Other Thoughts: I changed platforms from a high end AGP system with a X1950pro to this 7950GT, The X1950pro outperformed this card hands down in every aspect. But ATI's drivers are much worse. Save your money and buy an 8800GTS...
