5 out of 5 eggsBetter Than Sapphire 1600pro w/ 512mb

Pros: Faster than i thought it was going to be.

Cons: Long, it just a little shorter than the width of my motherboard.

Other Thoughts: Had a sapphire 1600pro with 512mb for 2 months and it died (it was overclock so could not return it). With this card in i get 5 to 10 fps increase and my 3dmark06 went from 1905 (sapphire) to 2890 (evga). Very good card for an agp system. If you want a great card buy this one.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and a LONG AGP card

Pros: Very nice card, huge jump from my previous 9600xt all-in-wonder.
With this you basicly can max your AA and others with no problem at all.

Cons: Very pricey..I guess.
I heard some people has MAJOR problems when playing big games like Oblivion, BF, CC, Half Life, and those games. Alot of them CRASH while playing and the updates from NVidia.com arent helping at all. So make you have the right power supply!!!!

Other Thoughts: I have 2.8Ghz
Intel Motherboard
2 Gb PC2700
420W PSU
Sound Audigy Gamer ZS 2
Dell 2405 inch LCD..running at 1920x1600!!!

And MAKE SURE you have enough power supply. Some ppl have problems with this. and make sure you go to EVGA forum to find more information.
oh yeah .. this card is LONG make sure you check your motherboard set up.
THIS CARD DOESNT COME WITH PUREVIDEO OR ANY DVD ENCODER like ATI. You have to buy them seperatly $xx.

The best card for AGP, same as ATI x850xt PE. you pick!

5 out of 5 eggsDon't overlook this awesome video card

Pros: 100%! Last upgrade for my aging gamer. This will last at least another 2 years easily. Used to be a huge Nvidia fan back in the day of the Ti4600 Pro until I biult this present gamer and opted for the then HOT Ati 9800 Pro 128MB AGP. The difference is immediately seem after installing this EVGA Superclock 256MB monster video card.

Cons: Didn't come with DVD Player software or any other free software like Ati gave for free with the 9800 Pro.My only gripe.

Other Thoughts: System before and after:
ASUS P4P800 Rev. 1 W/ latest bios, Ai overclock on Auto.but tweaked settings for the DDR by the suggestion of Mushkin, 1GB Mushkin High-Performance BH5 modules DDR400(3200). Yeah those.2X 80GB Barraduda SATA drives running in Raid0, Audigy and P4 2.8 800Mhz w/HT enabled.
Plays maxed settings Doom3 like it was meant w/ all the eye candy, COD2, BF2, Steams latest WW2 Sim Red Orchestra plays smooth as butter maxxed out.The Ati 9800 Pro paled in comparison.

4 out of 5 eggsA Second Chance

Pros: This VC is awesome! My previous VC was an FX5900 XT, by XFX. I just thought it was a good card, till I finally got this one to work right. I play Q4, HL2, HALO, DOOM3, & RIDDICK with all of the graphic settings on high, it never misses a beat. The game Far Cry is so amazing for it's graphic, I've finally got a VC that will play everything I own without slowing down. It has added at least 2 more years to my aging XP 3200+ processsor computer.

Cons: Did not work properly with my previous MB & I had to buy a new one. I had a MB that ran the KT600 chipset on it, & I had some voltage issues. I don't fault the VC for it, but I do blame the MB maker for not putting out a new BIOS flash that could have corrected this problem. I would have given card a rating of 5, if I did not have to have bought a new MB.

Other Thoughts: This VC is awesome, but you may want to check first on the EVGA website to see if there are any issues with ur MB & this card.
( I've heard that this will be the last of the AGP cards.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Last Upgrade

Pros: Was looking for a final upgrade from my AIW 9800 Pro. The difference is like night and day. I have an aging AMD 64 3200 based system, which for the majority of tasks is plenty of speed. It didn't make sense to abandon my solid Abit motherboard with all the new CPU options on the horizon, so the 7800GS is a great (if slightly expensive) interim solution. I'm amazed to be able to run Doom 3, F.E.A.R. and other games at 1920x1200. Didn't think it would be as fast as it is.

Cons: None really. I've heard of some problems with cards not making their rated overclock speeds, but mine is perfect. Could be the luck of the draw, or a bad early batch. eVGA's service is very respected, so there's not much to worry about. Definitely recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Great option for people that don't want to spend 1000 plus on switching to pci-e scoring 3103 in 3dmark06,6383 in 3dmark05 at stock setting with this card runs BF2,Doom 3,Battle for middle earth 2 great on high settings

Cons: Price was high when i purchased it other than that no problems

5 out of 5 eggsCrashes / Blank Screens / etc.

Pros: many already typed in other reviews

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Ok, so heres what i gathered from the whole crashes blank screens etc...

1) either there is sumthing about the hardware in these peoples computers that is not "up-to-par" (eg. power supply, RAM, CPU)
2) they have software installed that is suppoesed to effect some type of memory other than vid, and it malfunctions (or just scan etc. all memory while it says its scanning physical etc.) and peeks the cards capabilities resulting in a crash [seeing as how many memory editors/scanners wait a few minutes after start-up to do thier jobs (so that startup isnt effected) this is more than likely]

1 out of 5 eggsNot a good Card for me!!!

Pros: This Video card ran great for about 1 week, and then just quit! No warning sign at all! So I RMA'ed it! After another week of use with the new card (Same kind)I RMA'ed again, this time for a refund!

Cons: To much of a pain to keep putting in new cards, I think I'll switch brands! lol

5 out of 5 eggsFast card!!!

Pros: Super fast card, it trippled my 3Dmark score over my old ATI 9600XT. It runs cool, and is super quiet. I tried a X800 XT, and it was so lound in games, and it ran super hot, so I returned. But this ones a keeper!

Cons: Didn't come bundled with any games.
