3 out of 5 eggsWorked great for 11 months

Pros: Good price to performance ratio for me. 2d and 3d picture looked much better then my old video card from that other company.

Cons: 11 months, then died. RMA'ing to Newegg as we speak. Seems this is common for this card, so is it the Ati reference design or Powercolor quality that is causing this?

2 out of 5 eggsDidn't work quite right -- wasn't DDR2

Pros: Newegg RMA'd right away, no questions asked.

Cons: Wasn't DDR2 (didn't even say so on the box) -- would only start up 1 out of every 10 times. Tested on three different computers just to make sure.

Other Thoughts: Meh, wasn't NewEgg's fault. Powercolor just stinks. Should've paid more attention to these reviews.

2 out of 5 eggsProblems..

Pros: Great performance for price, comes with all needed software/accessories.

Cons: Runs VERY hot. Went through 2 cards, and am RMAing the 3rd for malfunction. Never overclocked, never abused, ambient case temp at 77 degrees F

Other Thoughts: Great little card.... When it works

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great buy for the price and it's a fast board.

Cons: Always have to update drivers on the internet.

Other Thoughts: Will it ever be possible to send the updated drivers in addition to the CD that comes with the package?

3 out of 5 eggsNothing Special

Pros: Neat red LED.

Cons: I upgraded to this from my trusty VisionTek Radeon 9600 expecting a huge improvement in frame rates while playing Joint Operations. There was an increase but it was minimal. Used Ati Tool to overclock the core & memory by 10% and after about 1 hour of gaming i started to get artifacts.

Other Thoughts: RMA'ed and ordered the HIS model.

3 out of 5 eggsx700 PRO instead

Pros: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102605

DON'T waste your money on the x700 when the x700 pro is only $x more! Neither are going to win any medals, but that $x you spend will be a steal.

Cons: slower than the pro

Other Thoughts: just came across this link in a forum, had to throw in my $x

4 out of 5 eggsGood Bang For The Buck!

Pros: Easy install out of the box, used OmegaDrivers instead of ATI's Catalyst set. Runs BF2 and StarWarsBF2 at medium settings with no grief.

Cons: For less than a hundred$$...none.

3 out of 5 eggsDied after nine months

Pros: I bought this card about 9-10 months ago and It worked GREAT!!! But just recently it got flaky such as my computer wouldn't post with it and ALWAYS had to cold boot.

Cons: Got new one back. Took so long cuz I shipped it by the postal service >.<
My old one had Samsung ram on it which i would've liked to keep but... And this new card is 350/533 not 400/533

Other Thoughts: I liked this card before and we'll see how this new one works for me.

1 out of 5 eggsworthless

Pros: when it works it runs games well

Cons: on BF2 and other games it will randomly freeze up and the screen will lose a signal and it will make me restart and sometimes the screen will flash and when it stops any graphics that were on the screen or messed up

Other Thoughts: this card is good if you only browse the web or edit photos but it is defiantly NOT for gaming
