good drive

Pros: installed this on my modded 900. Great little drive, performs exactly as expected.

Cons: Finding a sata adapter for the back was a little bit of a pain, just inconvenient i suppose. I researched in advance though so only had a day overlap between getting drive and getting adapter so I could install.

Other Thoughts: Sweet little drive to throw on the bottom of a 900 so you can install a 3rd drive bay and fan.

Good slot drive

Pros: Slot-load transport, DVD-RAM capability, no coasters.

Cons: Flimsy faceplate

Other Thoughts: Purchased to upgrade a Panasonic CF-29's optical drive (yes, a tray transport is more than enough for this machine), slot loading is very convenient for multiple burns.

The K06 also works very well with an older Apple G4 Cube. Apple has this drive in most of their current machines.

Faceplate needs to be secured with tape to prevent trouble.
