Bring your system to life with the PurePower 600W power supply. Compliant with ATX 12V v.2.2 it is also certified Nvidia SLI-ready. Additionally, it is also compliant with the latest dual PCI-Express and Dual Core CPU configurations, and is ready to deliver 600 watts of power where you want it – safely and reliably.

Four separate 12V rails will provide 48A – enough to satisfy even the most demanding system. Active PFC (power form correction) maximizes power efficiency saving energy – and money on the power bill. Industrial-grade protections built into the power supply include defenses against over current, short-circuit, over voltage and no-load operating.

Four +12V output circuits provide stable voltage to your system including up to three PCI Express expansion cards. Modularized cable management lets you connect only the cables you need which reduces the amount of clutter within the case and improves airflow. In addition, all cables are included and they are sleeved in black nylon mesh for a clean look. A large, whisper-quiet 14cm ball bearing 1900RPM cooling fan keeps the power supply cool and operating at peak performance.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome PSU

Pros: Instead of a clump of cables out the side of this PSU, you get to plug in the cables you need. This helps reduce cable clutter inside of the machine. Has worked fine like a rock since I got it. Had it for about 9 months now.

Cons: *shrugs* Got nothing here.

Other Thoughts: The Pros pretty much sums it up. I love it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood PSU

Pros: - Modular Cable management
- Seemingly reliable
- 4 12V rails so you can split up your power hogs

Cons: 8 pin mobo connector branches off the 4 pin connector which can sometimes get in the way of the CPU fan and also doesn't look that nice.

Other Thoughts: I got this PSU to replace my Antec TruPower 600 and it's done very well. Cables are able to stretch across my full tower and I've encountered no problems so far with it.

5 out of 5 eggsI have the Power!

Pros: Excellent Support for many devices. Modular cables connect nicely to the power supply. No issues with Length (I have Antec P180B, It's very tall, and easy to have cable length issues). Silent!

Cons: Smaller cases may have TOO much cable. We all know that Gamers don't do small.. airflow is a must.

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical of buying thermaltake, as I've had noise issues with other products. I've had no noise issues or power issues with this product. I hope this statements maintains when I go to 2 Radeon HD 3850's.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat service

Pros: Nice power supply and very quiet. Excellent service from Thermaltake. Far better than just about any manufacturer than I've dealt with in many years. I will always buy Thermaltake products when I need an item they make. I returned one of these power supplies and they turned it around in a week and had great communication to me.

Cons: Nothing to speak of.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: High Power, keeps itself cool, modular cables, affordable.

Cons: Doesn't shoot money out of the exhaust.

Other Thoughts: I've had this power supply in a previous rig, bought it again for my new computer, works just fine, no problems whatsoever. The modular cables are what sold me on this power supply. Very convenient.

4 out of 5 eggsNice p/s, but took 2 RMAs to get a good one

Pros: Nice modular power supply. Plenty of power for a non-crossfire system. Really quiet.

Cons: I gave this power supply four stars instead of five stars because I had to go through 2 RMAs to get a good one. (Newegg rocks.) The first two supplies were indicated by two power supply testers to be LL and 4.2 V (out-of-spe low) on the five volt rail. The third power supply was the charm. I'd recommend testing the voltage levels with a power supply tester before installing the unit. I can suggest the Rexus PST-3.

Other Thoughts: Power supply fan is an intake fan in case anybody is wondering (I don't know if they vary from supply to supply). I'd buy this power supply again.

System: Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS4, Intel E8400, 4x1GB Crucial DDR2-1066, Sapphire HD3470, Thermaltake W0144RU 600W. XION XON-101 case, Seagate 250 GB HD SATA2 7200 rpm ST3250410AS, Pioneer IDE DVD burner DVR-115DBK, floppy drive.

5 out of 5 eggshelped solve a problem

Pros: The Rexus PST-3 showed the actual voltage level (4.2 V on the five volt rail) for my defective power supply whereas the other power supply tester that I have (which looks a lot like it and has the same connectors) only showed an out-of-spec low indication (LL) and not the actual voltage level. This unit seems to have a better voltage display range.

Cons: None that I can see.

Other Thoughts: The manual indicates that aside from testing the 24 pin connector and CPU connectors while they are both plugged in, all other power supply leads should be tested by themselves with no other connectors (including the 24 pin connector) attached.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best

Pros: I've built a great deal of computers over the years, and this is a great PSU. It's modular, silent, and powerful enough to handle most platforms. Thermaltake really does make a great product.

Cons: I wish it had more SATA power cables.
