Excellent case for the price
Pros: I have five of these cases for my home business servers. For the price, they can't be beat. They are super sturdy, plenty roomy, and easy to work with. The internal drive mounts come out very easy for drive replacement.
Cons: the 5.25" bay sometimes can be a bit of a pain to remove. The lip closest to the side of the case tends to make removing the 5.25" bay more difficult than it should. Despite this, the price, sturdiness, and other benefits outweigh a rating lower than 5. It's only a minor inconvenience.
First one came DOA
Pros: Don't know. It won't light up. :-)
Cons: This monitor came DOA for me. NewEgg's fantastic service is sending me a new one. Hope it works out better than this one did...
This is a really great TV
Pros: Wow. I can't believe you can get a 50" TV with this nice of a picture for under $400. I mean this is a great TV. The picture is super bright, clear, and crisp. The color is true. The controls are easy to work. This is TV is just want I needed.
Cons: It doesn't have any bells or whistles, so if you want bleeding edge features, it won't have it. Also, the speaker are terrible. They are loud, which is good, but the sound quality is pretty lousy (hence losing a star).
Overall Review: The value of this TV simply cannot be beat. You can buy four of these TVs for the cost as one of some of the better known name brands. I took a chance and I'm glad I did. it's an excellent TV. Just don't use it for the audio. Get a separate amp and speakers.
Ordered two; both DOA
Pros: Who knows? I couldn't initialize the drive.
Cons: I ordered two and both were DOA. I tried three different hard drive controllers (one USB dock, one eSATA dock, and a Dell PERC SATA controller on R515 server) and none recognized the drive properly. There were all sorts of strange errors in Windows (Server 2012). The USB dock got the closest where a drive actually appeared in disk manager, but then would get a CRC error when initializing.
Overall Review: Drives seem to be DOA at a much higher rate than in the past. Cheap manufacturing I guess?
Works great
Pros: Does exactly what it says: USB 2.0 enclosure for a SATA drive. I have six and they all work great. It's absolutely reliable.
Cons: No cooling fan, so keep the enclosure exposed and not covered up. Also recommend using a "green" drive that is designed to run cooler.
Works great!
Pros: Ordered two of these a while back for some very old servers with name brand power supplies that had died (caused spontaneous reboots). These things have worked perfectly -- no more reboots. :-)
Cons: Considering the price, none!
