Pros: Great build quality for a low-cost device
Very responsive OS
Almost all of the popular apps are free and easy to download (Facebook, Kindle, Netflix, etc.)
No problems playing videos, music or games
User-expandable memory via MicroSIM slot
The automatic syncing of pictures, calendar, contacts, etc. is incredibly convenient
Running at 4G speeds is awesome
Cons: Not the highest res screen or camera, but still very, very good
Not the fastest mobile processor, but Windows Phone 8 is so optimized it doesn't need to be
Other Thoughts: If you're on T-Mobile with a 4G data plan, you can't really beat owning this phone outright at such a low price point, especially since you don't need to get locked into a contract. It does everything you want a smartphone to do, and it does it all incredibly well.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Powers everything fine. Looks great. I really like the modular cables.
Cons: The unit I received has to be the loudest PSU I've ever heard. I think it's all coming from the rear fan. Imagine the old baseball card in the bicycle spokes, but without any visible baseball card.
Other Thoughts: I filled out an RMA. Can't wait to get a silent one. Really takes away from the enjoyment of having an i7-3770k build... The system should be screaming silently. Grrr.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEG-S80G Unmanaged 8-Port Gigabit GREENnet Switch
Pros: Looks good on paper. When the power adapter failed after a week it didn't burn my house down.
Cons: The power adapter failed after about a week (it's a 5v 1A adapter), so the whole thing's in RMA right now. I used another 5v adapter I had and confirmed that the switch itself wasn't dead (but that was just a temporary test to satisfy my curiosity).
I had this connecting my computer and a TrendNet TEW-650 Access Point set up in Bridge mode to another TEW-650 set up in Access Point mode. While the connection was going through the switch my download speed of TERA was topping out at about 204 KBps (over a day to download). When I removed the switch and connected the TEW-650 directly to my computer, the download speed jumped up to 1.08 MBps (about 5 hours). I don't know if the switch was causing some sort of interference with the wireless N signal but it was the only variable that changed. I don't consider a 5x loss in speed acceptable.
Other Thoughts: Given the great number of reviews which led me to order it in the first place, I hope the new one I receive doesn't have a defective power adapter and that it won't have such a negative impact when used in conjunction with a TrendNet TEW-650 Access Point.READ FULL REVIEW
