Best business ultrabook out there right now
Pros: Excellent build quality, fantastic keyboard, sound, screen, versatility, size
Cons: Clickpad makes using the trackpoint harder than it should be, no mobile broadband option
Overall Review: Overall, I am in love with this machine. I regularly use it in tent mode, sometimes in tablet, and often in laptop. It's well designed, solidly built, and has a fantastic screen and high performance. I don't really know what to say to reviewers complaining about lack of a stylus, except, LENOVO HAS A MODEL WITH A STYLUS, this just isn't it. I really don't think it's fair to ding the product because you don't know what you are buying. Sure, I'd like slightly better battery life, separate buttons for the trackpoint, and a mobile broadband option... but this really is an amazing PC
A compromised device with an infuriating compatible drive policy
Pros: Well, it works. Rebuilds RAID arrays quickly after a drive failure/replacement. Runs Windows, so can run Windows software on top of the device, which is kind of great (I am running Crashplan and specialized remote access software on mine).
Cons: There is one huge, fatal flaw in this product. It will only work with a very select set of specialty HDDs! You would think that a Western Digital NAS would work with Western Digital's NAS drives (RED line) at the very least. Unfortunately, no, you have to try to find these strange supported drives, which sell for more than 3x the price. Stay away from this and all WD NAS products. I love my Synology (which doesn't complain about the drives I put in it), and would send anyone that way. This one was, unfortunately, a mistake.
Great - but unfinished
Pros: Blazingly fast with long-distance coverage; all the expected features of a high-end router; gigabit ethernet switch
Cons: The firmware is unfinished and has serious problems (see warnings on Netgear website); hopefully this will be solved soon.
