KINGWIN FPX-003 Multi-Function LCD Fan Controller Panel Black
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

4 out of 5 eggs works fine, but... fit.... 03/16/2014

This review is from: KINGWIN FPX-003 Multi-Function LCD Fan Controller Panel Black

Pros: 4 inputs for fans, easy to read display & SD card reader

Cons: with the Corsair Carbide 300R case.... the bezel does not fit through the front panel. If I need to remove the front panel for cleaning, I have to uninstall the reader from the inside. Pretty annoying.

XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System Crystal Series CLF-F1251 120mm Blue LED Case Fan, 2 pcs in 1 package CFS-SXGJS-BU2
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: Price compared to just buying one. Just bright enough LED lighting

Cons: Noisy at full speed

Other Thoughts: My Zalman Z12plus case has a 2-speed switch. At lower speed (approx 1200 rpm, it is whisper quiet. So, the 2-speed switch connector is connected to this fan and a Corsair Air series SP Quiet (front fan). The resistor from the Corsair fan is for the bottom mounted Xigmatek fan.

Some complained about the LED look. Solution? Don't buy a fan that has LEDs in them.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fan
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

5 out of 5 eggs Nice quiet PWM fan 11/11/2013

This review is from: Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Case Fan

Pros: Used to replace the rather noisy fan that came with the Corsair H60. Had it in push-pull configuration in conjunction with a SP Quiet fan I had lying around.

While it does have less Static Pressure performance than the Corsair fan, it is nice and quiet, with 2 of the Noctua fans in a push-pull configuration is it still whisper quiet.

Plus it comes with various accessories already included.

Cons: Noctua coloring scheme.
