Pros: Seems to be sturdy and the mesh looks like it will lasts a while
Cons:
This is not a filter kit. fan grille? yes, filter kit? no. You can't detach the mesh and there is only one part so it's not a kit. Screws don't count.
There is no way of actually cleaning it without taking it off of the fan/case and washing it. Blowing air at it will not get at the parts between the plastic and the mesh.
At 5 bucks this is overpriced.
Pros: worked great just what I needed for my 120mm fan I put on my cable modem .I have an arris surfboard sb8200 it was getthing hot and resetting itself a lot. so I added a 120mm fan and that did the trick and this cover makes sure me or anyone else wont get hurt thank you
Cons: none
Pros:
- Good filters, aren't too fine that they would restrict airflow
- Easy to install in my Antec 900
- Comes with the screws
- Easy to clean
Cons:
- Would prefer magnet option to install
- Kinda thick, doesn't fit nicely in the front of Antec 900
Pros: Simple but hopefully effective
Cons: none
Overall Review:
In building a X299 system, I have heard of the "high heat" issues.
I decided to add a 120mm fan behind the CPU portion of the board to add cooling.
(My case has a "bulge" on both sides, one for window and one for cable management)
Got a 4" hole saw and carefully put a hole on the case cover.
Installed the fan and this cover.
Looks nice and should work well.
Pros: Works perfect for covering fans as a dust filter.
Cons: None.
Pros:
Looks very nice,
Dust mesh matches that of my Corsair 760t,
'fits' 120mm fan
Cons:
It just ever so slightly dosent cover the whole thing but, its so minimal i cant remove an egg for it either.
Feels kinda like the plastic is flimsy but not too much of an issue for me.
Overall Review: This is by far the best 120mm fan filter i can reccomend you getting as long as you dont mind a black, plastic filter.
Pros: Within two weeks it was filthy. Clearly it's doing what it's supposed to! I have this on the bottom of my tower and since installing it I've noticed that the window is much less dusty.
Cons: Would've been nice to have longer fan screws included with it.
