Pros: Drive is fast.

Cons: DId windows chkdsk and it came up with 4kb of bad sectors right out of the box. WD lifegaurd tool stated that there was too many bad sectors after running a lifegaurd diagnostic tool through windows. I even sent in for RMA but now I ended up keeping the drive. I wanted to find the true problems of this drive before RMAing back to newegg since I love them so much. However, I ran a bootable dos dvd I made from a file WD gives their users in the download section of the caviar drive section. I ran the extended test and it fixed the errors. WD provides an awesome diagnostic tool. However if you use the bootable DVD / CD DOS version you need to set the sata config to IDE from AHCI and change them back to AHCI after the tests are completed. If you dont the dos tool does not recognize the AHCI.... WD needs to step up and create a diagnostic tha recognizes the AHCI.

Pros: Drive works super fast have only had 1 issue so far.

Cons: The issue that occured. After burning in my new PC and its components this SSD had run into a problem around 7 days into the computer burn in, I leave the PC on for 24 days to let parts burn in so I can return any faulty parts. However, it has been only 7 days. 7 days after burning in the drive the drive seemed to freeze the OS it was inoperable but my mouse was not frozen. I rebooted and opened my case. The LED changed from green to an amber color. The drive was not recognized in bios. I turned off my computer for 10 seconds and turned it back on and now it works. 1 mishap had my mind in a tangle.

Overall Review: Sweet drive if it performs. This drive has my OS on it if it fails I will go back to a 10,000RPM HD. I have not had any other errors like other users on OCZ support forums. I have not had any BSOD or anything like that. I have not done any tweaking to the settings or anything like that and the drive runs at what the spec sheets state. One more thing - People - you cannot expect older hardware to run new SSD technology. SSDs are a different ball game. If you have older hardware get SSDs that were made for that time period. Let me put it in a simple example - Lets just say you may have problems if you put a 2011 SSD drive into a 2006 machine. If it was an HDD sure, SSDS are a whole different platform. Imagine putting a usb 3.0 cable into a usb 2.0 port ( DO NOT DO IT) - it will just cause headaches.

Overall Review: its ram and it works ran memtest 3 passes and its fine

Pros: Sweet Laptop 1080p looks hot on large monitor! Awesome specs for the price I got the free sheet battery!

Cons: 4gb integrated ram only 1 slot available it says that nowhere on the description or in the manual Sub par webcam / camera dont use them so not a deal breaker

Overall Review: Infinity 9s review is spot on - the review below mine !!! And as he said the battery is replaceable if you take off the cover with 2 screws I would know because I added a 4gb stick of gksill ram and saw the battery..didnt try to take it out though. Sweet for the price!

Pros: Windows rating didnt change stuck at 7.5 Had ddr3 1333 sticks in before. Set timings and voltage in bios. defaulted at 1333 set at 1600 Raised the CPU/NB a little bit since there are 4 sticks. Plug and play with the 990fx sabertooth and 1100t processor. I use vmware virtual workstation and the extra ram came in handy ! cheers

Pros: Got two. Running for 72 hours and no problems. Seems solid. Excellent drives. No problems like other sandforce SSDs I have tried to replicated what was crashing the sandforce and this drive holds up its shield and does not fail. Comes out to like 119GB after plugin. Easy firmware upgrade - ISO IMAGE BOOT

Overall Review: Bought one with a transfer data kit... ended up not using it. I would reccomend to any novice or pro SSD user. I am using this on a Sabertooth 990fX AM3+ - SOLID BABY SOLID Newegg needs another promo on this cause I will buy more!
