Pros: Swivel Stand High Contrast Price HDMI Came with VGA and DVI Cords
Cons: Although I don't use them, the speakers.
Overall Review: Can't beat the price for these quality monitors. I'm talking my work into replacing the whole office with these monitors.
Great Machine w/ Battery Flaw
Pros: • The display is great • Illuminated keyboard is a nice touch • Overall atheistic are nice, no cheesy lights on the outside • Great boot time with Windows 8 • 4 USB Ports (2 High Speed) • Blu-ray player
Cons: • About once a week I get a "unauthorized battery" pop up and my battery wont charge. The more reading I do on it the more it sounds like it is a common problem. The only fix is to remove the battery and put it back in the terminal which doesnt sound hard but the battery gets fully depleted which really hurts its mobility if you have to bring your A/C charge cord everywhere with you. Why even have a laptop? No help from Lenovo as well. But I have installed the new BIOS and removed the battery bloatware that could be the issue. • A lot of bloat ware • There was no superfish on my machine but even having to worry about it was a con. • Speakers are "meh"
Overall Review: Aside from the battery issue the machine is a great value. If they can resolve the issue the machine would get 5 stars but if I was shopping for this machine I would be weary just because of this issue. Their customer service is poor but that almost seems to be industry standard with these companies aside from MAC but a similar mac would be twice the price.
Expensive Brick
Pros: • Great speakers
Cons: • I know it's a gaming machine but its super heavy • Battery life is horrible • After 1 year the screen went, had to send it in for warranty (had to pay for shipping) • A few months after the machine went the motherboard went, my warranty is expired and they wanted over $600 to repair. • 2 major issues on my machine and alot of lost time later now it is sitting in my basement and not usable. Repairs are more than it is worth.
Overall Review: I will never buy an MSI again, I took a chance on it being a bargain but it was the worst laptop I have ever owned. I've recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad to replace this paperweight. MSI customer service is industry standard which is terrible. Would definitely not recommend this product.
