Most Favorable Review

great customer service

IOGEAR GUC2025H USB 2.0 to HDMI External Video Card
IOGEAR GUC2025H USB 2.0 to HDMI External Video Card

Pros: Works great. Writing this review on a monitor connected to the usb device. 5 egg customer service. I had an issue and posted in my previous review and the mfr responded with updated drivers.

Cons: Not any cons anymore. The blinking blue light is a little annoying, but I just turn it upside down.

Overall Review: Download the latest drivers. I installed on both Windows 7 and Windows 8 and they seemed to work great. The version I downloadee was: DisplayLink_6.3M1

Maylong M-250 256MB Memory 7.0" 800 x 480 Universe Tablet Powered By Android Android 2.2 (Froyo)
Maylong M-250 256MB Memory 7.0" 800 x 480 Universe Tablet Powered By Android Android 2.2 (Froyo)

Pros: Cheap. Works with external keyboard. I boutght a 7inch case with built in keyboards and it works well. A must have since the touch screen is not very responsive and requires a stylus to use. I found rooted firmware online and updated to the custom android 2.2 version. I never even turned it on using the factory firmware. Supports my 32 gb micro sd card

Cons: Screen is not responsive. Old version of android 2.2 so not all apps are compatible. Most apps in the play store are not available and claim to be incompatible. I have exported several from my phone and installed them manually and most seem to work, but not all. Battery life is not that great and cannot charge with USB. Will not support more current firmwares since the manufacturer has now come out with a new model

Overall Review: If you want a cheap 7 inch table for email, calendar, and basic web browsing functions, this works well for that. There are cheap tablets coming on the market everyday that have android 4 ics on them for $10-$15 more. So if you are willing to spend a little more, I would reccomend it, otherwise this will serve your basic needs.

convenient

Rosewill RHSP-14001 - 6-Outlet Wall Tap Power Surge Protector with 2 USB Ports
Rosewill RHSP-14001 - 6-Outlet Wall Tap Power Surge Protector with 2 USB Ports

Pros: Convienent surge protector with USB ports. Replaced a 6 outlet adapter with this and I get the added bonus of 2 usb and surge protection

Cons: USB charger doesn't charge my Samsung Note II. I can charge other devices, but I am stuck using my OEM charger for my Note II. The green light is annoying. I may have to figure out how to crack it open and remove the led.

Overall Review: I bought two of them, one for the kitchen and one for my office

works most of the time

IOGEAR GUC2025H USB 2.0 to HDMI External Video Card
IOGEAR GUC2025H USB 2.0 to HDMI External Video Card

Pros: Its usb and easy to install. Drivers downloaded and installed easily. Don't need to open the case

Cons: When the computer first boots up, the driver seems to have issues loading with the USB device and conflicts with my NVIDIA driver. Windows doesn't crash because when I type in my password and hit enter (blindly) windows will load up and then the driver will load correctly. Weird, I know, and it took a few reboots to figure this out. So if the card doesn't appear to be working and the screen goes blank after reboot, it could be that if you type in your password and hit enter, it will load up fine.

Overall Review: I will keep looking on IOGears website to see if they will release an update that fixes the driver conflict

Rosewill RNX-N360PC (RNWD-11003) IEEE 802.11b/g/n, PCI, Wireless-N Adapter (3T3R) Up to 300Mbps Data Rates, 64/128/152-bit WEP, complies with WPA/WPA2 standard (TKIP/AES), Shared Key Authentication, IEEE 802.1X

Pros: Seems to be pretty stable. Connections don't drop. Got it to work in windows 8... see my note below. I am making this post over the wireless connection.

Cons: Drivers are not signed for windows 8, so the only way I could get the driver to install was to disable "driver signature enforcement" It's PCI. Not sure why I bought the PCI because it is pretty cramped on my mobo because they make video cards so big now.

Overall Review: Unless you have a specific reason to buy PCI, I would actually recommend just buying a USB wireless adapter.

dead again

OCZ Vertex 2 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD3-2VTX120G
OCZ Vertex 2 3.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD3-2VTX120G

Pros: Yes its fast and quiet.

Cons: Not dependable. I am currently without my SSD yet again because it is going through the RMA process. Unfortunately the RMA process is slow and I am stuck paying all of the shipping costs. End up paying more for the SSD once I factor in shipping cost. The first SSD failed after 6 months of use, the second after 3 months. Lets see how long the third one will last.

Overall Review: Only buy this product if you like the OCZ brand or products. Don't buy it because it is cheaper because you will end up paying more for it than the other ones on newegg once you factor in rma costs and lost time restoring from backups. I have purchased ozc products in the past however I am not sure if I would buy from ocz again.
