Best headphones I ever owned

LG HBS-730 White TONE+ Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset
LG HBS-730 White TONE+ Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Pros: Excellent highs and mids. Decent base, something I haven't heard in headphones yet. Outlasts my Galaxy Nexus's battery, I haven't heard the "power low" message yet, even though I tried. Gone for well over 12 hours straight (95% music, 5% talk). Looks awesome, I get all kinds of questions and compliments :)

Cons: The wires connecting earbuds to the headset feel very flimsy. Very loose around the neck, forget about running or working out. Fall right off if laying down on your back, due to same reason.

Overall Review: I've had a few disconnects other people complained about, but my investigation leads me to conclude it was Android related, my phone was at fault, not the headset. I've switched my ROM from stock to CyanogenMod, and haven't had a single disconnect in over a week. With stock they happened as soon as I stopped playing music in a crowded area (other BT around). If you need a wireless stereo headset that sounds great and lasts over 10hrs, and aren't planning on taking it to the gym this is it.

Most Critical Review

Failed after exactly a week

Xbox 360 Wired Controller Black/Glossy Black
Xbox 360 Wired Controller Black/Glossy Black

Pros: Worked well until it failed a week after I received it.

Cons: It failed exactly a week after I received it.

Overall Review: I was very satisfied with the controller until it decided to fail today. I haven't dropped it or damaged it in any way, it just stopped working all of a sudden. Tried connecting it to different USB ports, different computer, different OS, to no avail. It's dead.

Best 184pin DDR400 memory

G.SKILL Value Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX
G.SKILL Value Series 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F1-3200PHU2-2GBZX

Pros: Fastest 184-Pin DDR400 memory money can buy

Cons: None all mobos will support this aggressive clocking

Overall Review: Had two chips for over a year, after my best platinum corsairs failed. They are faster than the corsairs, and have outsurvived them already. Just added two more chips for a total of 4Gig, and loving it.

Very Good Media

Verbatim 4.7 GB 16X DVD+R 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 95098
Verbatim 4.7 GB 16X DVD+R 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 95098

Pros: First 16x media I found which actually burned at 16x for me. I've tested 10 dvds so far, all burned @ 16x, not a single error.

Cons: None I can see

Overall Review: Best 4.7G 16x media out there

Game tips

EVGA GeForce 9600 GT 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 01G-P3-N870-AR
EVGA GeForce 9600 GT 1GB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 01G-P3-N870-AR

Pros: * Cheap * Acceptable performance in all latest games * Solid housing+cooling

Cons: * Most of my games crash while using factory clock settings (see comments below)

Overall Review: Most of my games (think all the latest FPS, RPG, and RTS games) crash after several minutes of gameplay using out-of-the-box card with latest nvidia drivers. The only exception being COD4 MW, and COD5 WaW. All the games crash in exactly the same fashion: sound continues playing, but LCD displays 'no-signal', computer is completely unresponsive and unpingable so windows is crashed enough not to be able to handle basic interrupts... Reboot is the only fix. After dealing with it up for almost a year I finally snapped after buying a game which consistently crashed before even getting to main menu screen. Eventually (no help from EVGA) I figured out my problem is caused by EVGA's 'super' clock settings. What I do now is underclock my card to 600x900x1600 before playing any game using NVidia's system-tools (bad idea), or Riva_Tuner. Since this is a first card I bought which was factory overclocked I'm assuming this affects most 'super-clocked' EVGA boards...
