can I use this for my phone or only stereo?

It is used for both.  I use it for everything.  If I am talking on the phone, I leave one ear out and just use one side to talk.  If there is a lot of noise, I add the second ear to block everything out.

It sounds great and works perfectly.  You hear people well and they can hear you.  I use this all day long and just keep it under my colar while working.  At night, I use it for working out.  It stays on while I run without any problems.

I recommend it to anyone.  It has been one of the best bluetooth devices that I have used so far.

WILL THIS WORK ON I-PHONE AND A DROID?

I can't speak for the iPhone, bit they work great with a Bluetooth enabled android. I use them daily and can't live without them. I literally use them 9 - 10 hours a day. I have no complaints about them. Battery life and range are amazing. And the 730a are going super cheap now. I have 700s, 730s, and 800s, and the 730s are my favorites. You won't know how you ever lived without them.

I'm not sure what you mean my OEM while referring to a bluetooth product, but do know this is an outstanding audio device. 
It works great with my Droid Razor Maxx HD phone, and I do use it all the time.
The sound is great and all the controls from the device work perfect with the Android system. Not sure how it works with an Apple phone, but I can't see a reason why it would work just as well.
I like this LG Bluetooth so much that I bought another one to keep as a spare, in case I lose or break one.

Is this headset in any way compatible with a Samsung T404G?

The Samsung T404G is a basic phone that is supposed to have Bluetooth capabilities. I'm looking into helping my husband find a compatible Bluetooth for him. I recently purchased this product for my phone because I have an LG Lucid 2 (Smartphone) and was hoping he could get one of these also because it is very easy to use especially if you are disabled.

Will this work with a Samsung Galaxy IIIS phone?

As far as I know from personal experience... This phone is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Note III. I see no reason what so ever as to why it would not be compatible with any previous Samsung phones.

how to sync with my lg phone?

The default code is 0000. It should since automatically.  You have to have your blue tooth  on. Then turn on the blue tooth. It should find each other and be able to sync.

Read some reviews mentioning that these will bounce when running or working out.  I can see how this might happen and was wondering, since they appear to be pretty awesome, has anyone defeated this problem?  Or is it a problem?

I just received mine a few days ago.  I have to say, I love them!  They sound surprisingly good for the price point.  I have not yet taken them to the gym, so I can't testify to weather they bounce or not, but I would think this could be easily remedied by wearing them under a Tshirt.  The cords are plenty long enough to reach the ears.
