Gread for DJ PCs

ARK IPC-2U235 Black 1.2mm SGCC 2U Rackmount Server Case
ARK IPC-2U235 Black 1.2mm SGCC 2U Rackmount Server Case

Pros: Can fit in a small DJ rig with ease. I used these cases for my smaller DJ rigs. Smallest 2u I can find

Cons: wish it was just an inch shorter in depth Could add a slimline DVD-Rom drive above the drive bay. Or at least the option for one.

6 months... smh

Seagate BarraCuda ST4000DM004 4TB 5400 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drives Bare Drive - OEM

Pros: 4TB at a low cost

Cons: Died after 6 months. Have to pay to ship it back to Seagate for replacement.

Overall Review: Use RAID with these and cross your fingers

Used 3 of these on one PC... smh

Acer KA251Q Abmidix 25" (Actual size 24.5") Full HD 1920 x 1080 60Hz DVI HDMI VGA Flicker-less Bluelight Shield Built-in Speakers Frameless LED Backlit LCD Monitor
Acer KA251Q Abmidix 25" (Actual size 24.5") Full HD 1920 x 1080 60Hz DVI HDMI VGA Flicker-less Bluelight Shield Built-in Speakers Frameless LED Backlit LCD Monitor

Pros: Big, cheap, good display

Cons: Don't call something "frameless" if there is going to be a tiny black bar on the screen around the left, top, and right sides.

Overall Review: I put 3 of these on one PC because I thought I would have a teeny tiny transition from each monitor (for gaming, design etc). Out of the box, it looked promising. Tiny little bezel on 3 sides at 1920x1080. Connect them to the PC and boot up... ugh. 3/8 in black border around each monitor. Making it 3/4 in between monitors. is "frameless" just an industry term that means something other than the actual definition?

First Impressions

SIGCUS SGC42E 42" Class 1080p LED HDTV
SIGCUS SGC42E 42" Class 1080p LED HDTV

Pros: Good picture for the price Plenty of inputs for the average user

Cons: Screws were not long enough to mount base. 1 screw stripped with barely any pressure applied. Had to use my own screws (longer) from base to TV. Missing one screw for bottom of base (had 3, needs 4). Instructions for base installation are for a completely different base.

Overall Review: screen has a few light/dark spots, not enough to truly complain about at this price point. but the screw issue... yeah.. really?

Inspect thoroughly

DELL B Grade Laptop Latitude Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 4GB Memory 160GB HDD 14.1" Windows 10 Home 64-Bit E6400

Pros: Cheap for specs

Cons: Loaded with Malware-laden Windows, wipe and reinstall asap.

Overall Review: I have purchased 6 of these. All have had Malware problems (until I reinstalled from scratch). Things would try to install when you were uninstalling something else. One gained 20 new bloatware apps in the first day of use. They don't ship an install disc with the laptop, so find one ASAP. The first 4 were good, minus the malware. Last two I bought, one had a slower CPU and the other a physically broken USB port. Kept the latter (didn't want to have to ship BOTH back), still waiting on the replacement of the former. Been 2 weeks since they received the shipment... Don't get me wrong, I'll probably buy 4-6 more...

Update!

Pros: No More BSODs

Cons: Had to reinstall everything

Overall Review: Got the BSODs to stop. I had to reinstall everything from scratch, but WOOHOO it works perfectly now. Luckily it was a new build anyway. If you are going to buy one of these, search for TL-WN722N, it's the same thing minus the case. Buy whichever is cheaper. Sean G.
