Great GPGPU for CUDA work

Pros: Consumer-priced card with hardware double precision. Using this card for signal and image processing not gaming. Incredible value - same performance as workstation cards at a tiny fraction of the cost.
Cons: Okay, so for a whole lot less money, we lose ECC. Also, spent a frustrating few hours wondering why double precision performance was poor. You need to MANUALLY enable hardware doubles in the driver settings. Hope that EVGA addresses that in updated drivers....
What gives?

Pros: Cheap, kinda pretty
Cons: Difficult to install - you have to reach under the fins to push the pins. Doesn't work well - statistically indistinguishable from Intel cooler for Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz. I'm wondering if Thermaltake is having quality issues, or if something else is going on. Lots of folks seem to think it's 10 deg C cooler than stock, but a few of us see little or no difference from stock.
Easy and works

Pros: Simple to install and enable in X12SPA-TF workstation board. Instantly recognized and enabled by BIOS. Allows upgrade to Windows 11
Cons: Took a day or two longer to arrive than I had hoped (but on time from vendor's promised date)
Overall Review: Nice - bought it on sale, saved a bunch of $.
Pretty good

Pros: Surprisingly good cooling. On a 4.2GHz i7-3930K, previously cooled with Intel water cooler, temps dropped from 80C at CPU package to 62C at CPU package. I had expected maybe 5-10C. Installation was very straightforward, one person, no complications, 30 minutes, being very careful, cleaning thoroughly with isopropanol.
Cons: Corsair link software really required for use (to set fan profiles), but never mentioned in installation guide. USB not recognized by Win 8.1 (see this to do the workaround: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=124044 ). Fans are not quiet - I'm probably going to end up replacing them.
Overall Review: Normally, I'd wait longer before writing a review, but the pros and cons on this unit are so clear that I am not bothering to wait. If other issues arise, I'll edit the review
