BenQ 24" 120 Hz TN Height & Pivot Adjustable 120Hz 3D-Ready LCD Monitor 5ms (2ms GTG) 1920 x 1080 D-sub / DVI-DL(Dual Link) / HDMI x 2 / DP 1.2 / Headphone Jack XL Series XL2420T

Pros: 90* Tilt Height adjustment Save preset video settings *No buttons!*

Cons: 1920x1080 max resolution :(

Overall Review: All around great monitor, I'm getting ready to buy another for a dual display setup. The base of the monitor comes forward quite a bit though, and is something to consider if you're tight on space. Colors are very good after some small adjustments, and navigating the menu to make those adjustments is a breeze. There's no buttons on the monitor! The "buttons" are small LED's recessed into the monitor that illuminate when you bring your hand up near them, and detect when you've covered them with your finger. It's very sleek, and perfectly functional. You can also fully navigate the menus with the included (but optional) controller, which allows you to switch between 3 different preset video settings on the fly. I keep it attached, but use it rarely. Response time is great, nice deep blacks and rich colors where you want them; and I haven't noticed any color fading, or burning in the year that I've used it daily. Overall, this is a monitor I would HIGHLY recommend for a gamer like myself. If only the resolution could go higher than 1920x1080 I'd consider this my perfect monitor.

Quite a bit of trouble..

ASUS A8N-SLI 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS A8N-SLI 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Its a nice board and all

Cons: But the problems really weigh it down a bit. If you ever want to run this board, its a necessity you flash the bios to the latest version. If not, youll be having a lot of trouble.

Overall Review: I suppose its an alright board, but its given me a lot of trouble to get going.

Comfortable

SteelSeries 7G Keyboard
SteelSeries 7G Keyboard

Pros: Comfortable

Cons: Flimsy wrist support, didn't work straight out of the box. Half of the keys didn't work straight out of the box. Filed for an RMA with SS, which took about a week and a half to get an RMA number, shipped the keyboard back. Tracked the keyboard and it was delivered 6 days ago and I haven't heard a thing from them since, no responses or confirmations despite my trying to contact them. *By the way, they don't list a phone number on their website for customer service, so you're forced to use their customer support system on their website which is abysmal. The keyboard would have been great if it worked, but this whole process of getting a replacement has been so bad I might start to wonder if I'm being pranked. Either way, if I don't get a response in the next 2 days I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Overall Review: Buyer beware. I read the warnings about RMAing to Steelseries and I took the chance anyway, big mistake. SteelSeries will never get my business again.

Feels good, doesn't work though.

SteelSeries 64022SS 7G Professional Gaming Keyboard
SteelSeries 64022SS 7G Professional Gaming Keyboard

Pros: Feels great, solid heavy-weight construction, windows key is replaced by another modifier key, usb audio and mic ports

Cons: Keyboard arrived with almost all keys not functioning properly or at all. Funny enough, WASD worked though. Wrist support is flimsy hollow plastic - I was expecting something as solid as the keyboard itself.. Caps lock, scroll lock and num lock LEDs are bright as hell No backlit keys (if you care about that sort of thing) Without wrist support the keyboard stands pretty tall and isn't particularly comfortable to use.

Overall Review: 3 stars because the one I received is broken. I've contacted SS support so hopefully the issue will be resolved. I'm irritated but really like the feel of the keyboard, so hopefully I'll get a working one sooner than later. I've spent a decent amount of time feeling the keyboard and getting an idea of how it would be to actually use. The key presses are very smooth, a little click clacky, but feel really nice to me. I'm disappointed the wrist support is just hollow plastic, it does its job, but I was hoping for something more solid. I expected the keyboard to drop into the wrist support, but instead the wrist support just lays over and around it. Disappointing, but whatever.

Routinely terrible

NETGEAR WGR614 Wireless-G Broadband Router 802.11b/g up to 54Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4
NETGEAR WGR614 Wireless-G Broadband Router 802.11b/g up to 54Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4

Pros: Easy set up, decent wifi strength, worked well when it actually worked.

Cons: I've had 2 of these routers. I bought the second thinking the first one was just a fluke by my second has been even worse. I have to routinely reset this router to get it allow any traffic. I find myself resetting it at LEAST once daily. It has never cooperated with Steam. If you're a big Steam gamer, don't even consider buying this router. What I mean by not cooperated, sometimes you can join a server and most of the time you can't join a single one. Trying to play a steam game online is like trying to win the lottery with this router. I've spent over an hour at times trying to join a server with no luck what so ever. In fact, just tonight I had such problems, which is actually what drove me to finally write this review. If you want this router just to check your email on a wifi network, yeah it's usually going to get the job done. But usually doesn't cut it in book.

Overall Review: Truly excited to replace this router, and I'm never buying another netgear product. End of story.

Total Pain

ASUS A8N-SLI 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS A8N-SLI 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Alright board

Cons: So far, iv had a lot of problems with my computer. 80% of the files i download are reported as corrupted, or i get other error messages trying to install or upack them. Updating the bios is the biggest hastle, i cant even describe it, i still havent been able to update them from what came on the CD, and there are many versions above it. The cd comes with an auto bios updater, but the stupid thing just sits there and does nothing when its supposed to be doing updating.

Overall Review: So far, iv had pretty bad luck with this, all these problems are makign me regret a custom PC.
