Most Critical Review

It is like 2004 slapped me in the face.

Antec GX500 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Antec GX500 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Decent Case with some flaws. The price is your average low end case. Paint inside and out look good. Simple to open it up. For a home server is a little big but it will work for me.

Cons: 1. Front panel cables were a nightmare. Cables were wrapped from the top of the case to the back of the case then back into the case. The case has very little openings to put cables thru and I ended up breaking the fan control cables. 2. I would not consider this case a mid tower. There is barely enough room for a atx board. It does not have proper holes to pull cables in and out. 3. The ssd mount is a joke. Since the lip is rounded the cables would plug in I ended up leaving it in the air. The screw holes made it worse to try to plug cables in.

Overall Review: I know it is a cheap case and should not expect it to come with all the bells and whistles. I have build to many pc to count but working in this case reminded me why I quit building pc for people. Way to tight for cables and motherboard. I don't want to RMA it because to send a case back is to much of a hassle. I should have bought a little bit more expensive case.
