Great ventilation for cooling but not for durability. 9/23/2019 3:45:09 PM

Pros: Extra space makes for excellent cooling short of using water cooling
The front mounted USB 3.0 are super convenient for headsets and other peripherals

Cons: The screws in the front I/O ports broke the plastic in the case and made the ports unusable after only 3 months of casual usage.
There are small thin strips of ventilation in certain spots that trap dust really easily and are difficult to clean without a cotton swab.

Overall Review: After three years of use it's held up not so great, seeing how the front I/O ports broke away from the case destroying the plastic. If I'd known about that problem, I would've invested in something a bit sturdier but more expensive. I'd recommend investing in something a little sturdier.

Nice Design 10/4/2016 5:43:35 PM

Pros: - Lightweight for a steel case but a bit flimsy.
- Air filters on the front and bottom.
- Push in SSD/HDD mounts aren't all that secure or tight fitting.
- Cheap.

Cons: - Big problem. One front panel USB 3 port basically shattered internally, rendering it unusable. I did not bump it or put any kind of strain on it. I simply pulled out the USB cable that was plugged in and the entire blue plastic section came out with it. Terrible. Gotta do better than that, Antec.

Dissappointing ... screws dont fit well, fans are noisy, flimsy steel 6/3/2016 7:37:25 AM

Pros: Lightweight.
Very easy to work "inside" - roomy.
Tool Less HD bays.
Amazing ventilation...

Cons: Very hard to line up mother board screw holes w/ backplane,
Very light weight = flimsy thin sheet metal that bends to the touch.
I HAD TO FORCE SCREWS INTO THE BACKPLAN SLOTS - which I suspect are "one shot deals", very much a disappointment.
VERY HARD to line up screw driver for back plane screws, and the "upper left" mobo screw / anchor hole.
VERY NOISY fans - one sounds like a HD constantly spinning. Cant afford time to replace case, now that its assembled, so I had to spend on another FAN.

Overall Review: Antec normally makes stellar stuff. I'd spend 30 more to get into one of their stronger cases.

90% awesome! 10% nightmare. 5/7/2016 10:15:14 AM

Pros: - Contrary to some reviews, I found this case to feel rather sturdy.
- Plenty of space to work with for air cooling (no surprises in terms of space for a mid tower)
- Well packaged, cables easy to find, etc. (see cons for cable management)
- Air cooling central. Comes with 2 top/1 rear fan, room for a couple more.

Cons: Biggest con is trying to tighten down PCI cards. There's those holes and screws to lock them down on the back of the case. I'm a strong guy (power lifter, lift over 400 lbs regularly) and I could BARELY muster the strength to force the provided screws to thread through those holes. For the record, it was VERY obvious which screws to use, I wasn't being stupid, the holes were punched and are of different depth than the screw threads, it's a mess!

Cable management is basically non-existent but my mobo was thankfully build relatively fittingly for the case (MSI Z170A PC Mate).

Overall Review: Honestly, this case is really good and I'd recommend it if it weren't for those screw holes on PCI card exits. That was such a phenomenal pain in the rear that I really couldn't say I'd buy the case again. Fix that and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Feels ubsturdy but very dependable 1/31/2016 1:17:41 AM

Pros: The filters are very easy to clean
Looks good

Cons: The 2.5 SSD mount seems to be off and I can not get my drive to sit right in it
It just feels very flimsy and breakable when you are working on it

Decent, but has flaws. 1/28/2016 12:48:24 PM

Pros: Looks great buttoned up. Power and reset buttons emit a satisfying click and feel solid. Power and HDD activity lights are bright and colorful. Side panels, while light, don't seem flimsy. Three included fans is a nice touch. While the screws used to install the fans to the top and front of the case are kind of strange, they work just fine. Included fans move quite a bit of air at full speed and aren't terribly loud. Included dust filters are easy to remove and clean.

Cons: Pre-installed standoffs were loose and needed to be tightened. Not much room for cable management. Front dust filter enclosure comes off at the slightest urging, forcing me to be careful about how I pick the case up. Top panel was difficult to unlock and remove. One of the included fans doesn't work, leaving me with one intake fan where I hoped to have two. No dedicated CPU power cutout, which detracts from the already sparse cable management options. PCI expansion slot covers are the cheap perforated metal variety; once detached, that slot is open forever.

Overall Review: If anyone from Antec sees this, what do I do about the dead fan? I don't want to RMA the whole case just for that, but I also want three operating fans.

Best Case Money Can Buy 1/18/2016 12:34:22 PM

Pros: The layout is outstanding. Able to put 100% of cable routing on backside. Clean appearance on front side.
Front topside USB 3.0 Connectors very conveniently located.
Two fan speed switches on front topside also convenient.

Cons: Metal is a little thin, but not a problem for me. Makes it lighter weight.

Overall Review: Wait for a sale under $40. Bought two below $40. I like this chassis better than my heavy steel case that I paid $150 to get.
