Seagate Backup Plus 3TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop Hard Drive STCA3000101 Black
Seagate Backup Plus 3TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop Hard Drive STCA3000101 Black

Pros: -Because it uses usb 3.0, transfers to and from the device are very fast. When I had installed the SeaGate software (dashboard agent) it had backed up all my personal data folders in less an hour (about 90 gigs mostly music) -Under the backup plan it automatically backed up files on all my internal hard drives. -The software to use the auto backup is fairly easy to navigate. You can back up continuously, hourly, monthly, or create a snapshot. Snapshot being similar to continuous. However, it only backs up once and updates changed or new files. You cane set a schedule to back up and what folders if you don't want to back up something or only want some folders backed up on occasion. (you can create multiple back up plans.) -Ascetically, it fits with the rest of my setup. Being a tall, black monolith its kinda hard not too. -Inside the software you can also view the remaining capacity, set a power saving mode, turn the leds on and off, or test the drive to assure that it's running correctly.

Cons: - the led capacity 'meter' on the front of the unit does NOT work unless you install the software. -The drive runs warm. I usually have my room at or below 70*F (21*C) and if I place my hand over the top vent, it gets a slight warm feeling. - the base is not weighted down. While its not unstable, anything more then a soft bump parallel to its longest axis (front to back) will knock it over. -Since my desk is close to the wall, it was VERY difficult trying to hook up the power adapter. The part that plugs into the wall was quite bulky. If you want to back up multiple computers to it, you may want to buy a second base and power/data cables as moving it will be a challenge. - the backup folders are a little difficult to navigate. Its not really clear at fist what backup is from when. There is not date/time separators making it difficult to read. However, each backup folder labels each drive so you at least know what came form where.

Overall Review: Over all i'm satisfied with this product. There are a few minor inconveniences but anybody buying a drive to backup files really should look at not only the features and lifespan of the product, but how they will use it as well and where. For me, I will mostly be using on my desktop so I will hardly ever have to move it.

Mount-It! Triple Monitor Desk Mount | 24" Max Screen Size
Mount-It! Triple Monitor Desk Mount | 24" Max Screen Size

Pros: The largest benefit so far has been freeing up a large amount of my desktop that was previously taken up by the original monitor stands. As well as elevating the monitors so they're more level with my line of sight.

Cons: The stand is great at what I mentioned above. However there are a few things that have not pleased me about it. The first is that monitors on the side arms seem to sit about half an inch to an inch lower than the main monitor. As such, I cannot recommend this stand for eyefinity or surround. Also, if you adjust the monitors quite a bit, you will have to retighten the bolts securing the articulation points with the provided allen key.

Overall Review: I only have 2 monitors attached to the arm at the time of this review. I plan on getting either a 27" or another of either of the other monitors I'm using. If I go with the 27" I don't think It will fit on the arm with the other two monitors. (I know it says only 24" monitor, but it also says some 27" will fit.) For now, the arm works, but if I (or you) want to get a larger monitor be aware that all the monitors may not fit.

Epic case

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Series PH-ES614L_BK Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Series PH-ES614L_BK Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is awesome. plenty of room for just about anything you could want to throw in it. Cable management was epic, I used all of one zip tie.

Cons: The process to remove the front fan filter is kinda A PITA. First you have to remove the front panel, and then remove the mesh. Also the PSU shrowd is bit of a pain to remove, but it does make the build look so much neeter.

Great Mouse

LOGITECH G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse #910-004074
LOGITECH G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse #910-004074

Pros: I'm really enjoying this mouse. It's pretty easy to hold in my hands (I have medium-small sized hands.) And all the buttons are really easy to hit. Especially the DPI and 'shift/sniper' buttons. I wasn't sure about the weights, but they've been supper handy. I was able to 'tune' the mouse to my preferred weight and balance.

Cons: The weights are kinda difficult to remove from the case, and the mouse. You have to clip them by the edge to remove them. The moue is easy to hold, However it is a little narrow. My pinky and ring finger feel slightly uncomfortable with the mouse sometimes. The scroll wheel modes are too extreme for my tastes. The unlocked mode is not very useful most of the time outside of some games imo. Locked, the scroll steps are very sharp. Too well defined.

Overall Review: I don't seem to use the buttons on the mouse wheel very much? Also, while I said the wheel in locked mode is feels too sharp, it does seem to be breaking in after a week or so. Also the infinite mode is very useful to scroll down large lists. Excel, large music library, etc...

Minor annoyances.

ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor
ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor

Pros: The screen is nice and large. I was using another IPS 21.5" monitor, when I bought this one. The smaller one never felt like it was big enough. I was always moving it closer or further away depending on what I was doing. I have yet to do that with this, larger screen. The size is just perfect for sitting about 2.5 feet away from me. The colors are great (a few notes in cons). My other monitor is also and IPS and the colors are fantastic!!! I was tempted to get a monitor with a higher refresh rate, However, I decides to go with color accuracy instead.

Cons: One of the first thing that annoyed me with this monitor is that it takes forever, to turn on with the system during power up or waking up from sleep. Since I'm using this as my main monitor, its kinda annoying to see my secondary ready first. My second issue is that the I/O area at the rear is protected by a floppy plastic cover. The cover feels really cheep, like its going to break at any moment. Its not something you have to deal with all the time, but if you want to change cables you have to lay the monitor flat on its face to change them. Also, the input ports are too close to the stand I think. Now the colors, they're all very good, except for blacks and whites. Some blacks appear as more of a deep, dark grey. I Think it's the backlight being too strong. However, it's not noticeable in most things. I only really noticed it in my chrome browser window. (I have a skin that makes the top bar black, when the window is placed to span both monitors, one looks a little more grey then black.) I've also notices this on one game only during a log in screen. The only problem with whites is, very bright crisp whites look a little dull.

Overall Review: Aside from the cons listed above, I really like this monitor. I know that looks like I really hate it, but its pretty good so far. I would buy another one I think, but I'd probably wait for it to go on sale again. Also, if you get this monitor, you WILL have to order an HDMI cable. It comes with one, but its from full HDMI to micro HDMI or something for cellphones. Why would anybody want to hook a cellphone up to a monitor?

Works, a few improvements needed.

NZXT 5.25-Inch Hue RGB LED Color Changing Controller (AA-HUE30-01)
NZXT 5.25-Inch Hue RGB LED Color Changing Controller (AA-HUE30-01)

Pros: The leds maximum brightness is very nice. The unit is able to produce some very nice colors. If you have a window in your case it will light it up pretty nicely. The Led strip is also nice and long with nice adhesive. There are two leds between the control knobs that light up the same color as the strip.

Cons: The led strip is not easy to mount. While it has a nice adhesive on the back, the strip is not able to 'twist' left and right. it's pretty limited to only being mounting in a loop. Also, the paper backing on the adhesive is not very good. Started pulling it off on one end and ended up taking some of the adhesive with it.

Overall Review: The controls are easy enough to figure out. I would have liked to see that the led strip be a little more flexible with its mounting. I'm not sure how remountable it is. If you move it to another case you may needs to find some way to restick it or order a new led stirp. You will want to consider how it will mount before you peel the backing. I have an Arc Midi R2 and a Corsair H100i. THe way the cooler mounts into the case, it blocks some of the light from the leds onto the top of the motherboard.
