Excellent video card for the price
Pros: 800 Stream Processing Units and 1GB of GDDR5 video memory, small size (compared to higher end video cards, my old card was almost 2 inches longer), low heat (for a video card), and quiet.
Cons: When running under high load the fan only revs up to 50% speed, while this keeps the card quiet compared to some noisier coolers it also lets the card heat up more if in a confined space (like in a small case or in crossfire with multiple cards), not too much of a con if you have a larger case. (see other thoughts on temperature)
Overall Review: I just got a second card and put it in crossfire and the temperature difference is very noticeable, it went from 70 degrees Celsius to about 80 degrees under full load (I have an Antec 900 case so ventilation isn't the problem), while this isn't going to fry the card it is something to think about if you are going to use this card in crossfire and your case is a little on the small side. So to sum up, as a single card this is an excellent card for the price and in crossfire you might have heat problems if you don't have a well ventilated case.
Works but software has a virus.
Pros: Connects easily to an android device, displays all the information the OBD has to offer and has a red LED to show if device is on and working.
Cons: Refused to connect to the windows mobile device and windows phone I have. Also the mini CD they include has a Trojan virus on it.
Overall Review: The device works fine, just throw away the CD as soon as you get it. Minus two eggs for anyone who doesn't take the time to make sure they aren't sending out viruses with their media.
Looks nice, but that's about it.
Pros: USB 3, two hard drive slots, light telling you if it is connected to a USB 3 port (the light is off if it's connected to a 2.0 or earlier port)
Cons: Stopped connecting at USB 3 speeds shortly after first use, like 15 min. It would still connect at USB 2 speeds, but would cut out in the middle of large file transfers (about 30 to 45 min). Emailed Thermaltake about the problem and before they even asked me any questions they immediately blamed my USB 3 controller but would graciously swap the unit to prove to me that their product wasn't faulty. Instead sent it back to Newegg for a refund.
Overall Review: The compatibility on the box says SATA 3, but the dock itself says SATA 2, also the box says the model number is ST0022U but the dock says ST0022. I don't know if this had anything to do with the problems I had, but every USB 3 device I have works, even the new dock I have from a different manufacture.
