Great board, working better than anticipated
Pros: Very OC-able, easy to insall, very cheap solution and from a great vendor.
Cons: As noted earlier, the HDD controller is in a REALLY bad location. Being that I run all SATA drives I really didnt' care so much.
Overall Review: This was a really easy board to build on, the bios covers everything necessary and it's aBit. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking at the 965 chipset. No frills powerhouse. I have a 6400 and 2 gigs of kingston 667 dual chan value ram and everything was easy with the install
Looks great on paper
Pros: Easy setup, easy network management.
Cons: Drops from the network and has to be reset. The print heads need to be cleaned a lot (wasting ink in the process). I get very little printing from even the XL cartridges and the cost of an entire set of Xl's about is about the cost of this poorly made printer on sale at any big box store.
Overall Review: I've owned many HP printers over the years and even though this one reads nicely from the tech specs it is not a very good performer in real life. I've had networking issues to poor print head performance with it and can't wait to get rid of it. HP has slipped drastically over the years and this series of printers is more proof.
Great out of the box
Pros: I took this out of the box, windows 7 detected it as an xbox 360 controller and I was good to go.
Cons: It does not feel as nice as a ps3 or xbox controller.
Overall Review: This thing is a great multi purpose controller. I don't game a lot on my PC (I have consoles for that), but it has worked great with Train, Lara Croft games and a few racing games.
Beefy Air Solution
Pros: Easy to install and great cooling solution.
Cons: The push-pins that snap into the MOBO are extremely cheap. The pins on the stock Intel cooler where much more stable which is a shame considering the price-tag on this bad boy.
The beast will cool
Pros: I recently read some various reviews on CPU coolers and the V1 shined in every area. It was easy enough to install and amazingly doesn't take up as much space as it appears it might prior to installation.
Cons: The push-pins are a bit on the *cheap* side compared to the stock Intel Cooler pins. The pins don't push as easy and certainly don't spin and lock as easily.
Good for the money
Pros: Great burner that has created no coasters so far.
Cons: When spinning up to speed this thing is as loud as my 360!
Overall Review: I have burnt maybe 20 discs in the last week w/out an isuses at all. It's a solid drive that just works (even if it is a bit noisy).
