Most Favorable Review

It's really as cool as you think it is.

Corsair Vengeance K70 Cherry MX RGB Red Switch Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
Corsair Vengeance K70 Cherry MX RGB Red Switch Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Pros: Ergonomic wrist pad. Great switches. VERY programmable. Huge user manual when you get lost programming. Amazing price point.

Cons: Keyboard illumination and setting utility (Corsair Gaming Software) difficult to use and intuitive. Can't build key flashes individually for each mode. It is a global setting.

Overall Review: This thing is really great. After watching a few videos other users uploaded, I was able to make my own profiles in about 2 hours. It does have a learning curve and the Corsair Gaming Software is hard to get used to and is unintuitive.

Wow.

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750 W ATX12V v2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Compatible with New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Comes in a wonderful bag, lots of adapters, cool looking.

Cons: Read all the one-eggs. These things fail. My brand new core i7 build failed due to this PSU after only nine days. Since I neglected to keep a minor portion of the packaging, Newegg said to send it back to Corsair for a replacement. I couldn't wait that long to use my new PC so I went to Best Buy and bought their only powerful PSU they had. I planned on returning the replacement PSU from corsair to newegg as per the newegg representative's recommendation but now Newegg will no longer honor that. Sucks.

Overall Review: Only buy if you are a die hard Corsair customer, like nice felt bags, or enjoy expensive paperweights to tell cool stories about to all your friends. At least Corsair admitted their fault and attempted to help me and got me a PSU replacement in a quick manner. Shame on Newegg customer support for leading me down this path that only led to one end... an unhappy customer who spent over two thousand dollars on new components and software who ended up not being able to return an IDENTICAL component for a refund directly from the manufacturer.

Because there isn't a T series touch with graphics

Lenovo - 17.3" - Intel Core i7-4710HQ - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M - 16 GB DDR3L - 1TB HDD 8 GB SSD - Windows 8.1 - Gaming Laptop (Y70 Touch (80DU006TUS) )
Lenovo - 17.3" - Intel Core i7-4710HQ - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M - 16 GB DDR3L - 1TB HDD 8 GB SSD - Windows 8.1 - Gaming Laptop (Y70 Touch (80DU006TUS) )

Pros: Sleek black metal exterior finish Fast 860M 4GB graphics Screen color is decent. Almost bought the 4K version but after seeing the color problems on their screens I went with this one. It seems normal. Keys feel good. Not T-series good, but acceptable. Black rubber interior feels great. SD card reader + ethernet ports Multitouch screen inputs are fast, accurate, and easy.

Cons: HDD+SSD is SO SLOW. Like, *you can see the desktop icons loading* slow. Opt for the SSD. Speakers are very bad - 'subwoofer' feels like a midget thumping a paper plate. Fit and finish is not super tight. You can pry back some of the edges with your fingers with little force. Glossy screen. NEED MATTE Large Bezel area around screen Rubberized surfaces get greasy easily (yeah I shower regularly) Battery life is not great even when idle. 4 hours browsing the internet and 1.5 hours on full CPU/GPU load.

Overall Review: I bought this as a mobile companion to my i7, GTX870ti, raid array, SSD desktop. For my line of work, a touchscreen is absolutely necessary. I design projects on my desktop and then take them out in the real world with this laptop. I am a T-series fanatic but the problem is that I needed a touchscreen AND good graphics. There is no T-series offering that so I went with this. I wish there was a more professional looking and feeling version of this laptop but it is not bad. I don't feel embarrassed with it at meetings. Runs games pretty well too. The worst part about this laptop is the slow storage. I need to replace this with an SSD. Unfortunately Lenovo does not include an install disc for windows 8.1 but I guess there are some workarounds with drive cloning. It was a good buy on black friday.

Logitech Z523 40 Watts RMS 2.1 Speaker System
Logitech Z523 40 Watts RMS 2.1 Speaker System

Pros: Good thump and very impressive if you're trying to annoy others. Works well for the price.

Cons: High end is not on par with the rest of the system.

Overall Review: I will be upgrading soon.

Mad Catz CD744002 Call of Duty: Black Ops Stealth Gaming Surface
Mad Catz CD744002 Call of Duty: Black Ops Stealth Gaming Surface

Pros: Good surface for tracking, very large. Sticky back, will not move... even if you're trying sometimes. Looks pretty cool.

Cons: Surface sometimes catches debris.
