Pros: Works well and compact size, made in USA
Cons: gets a little warm after use for few minutes but nothing major
Overall Review: We have one of these at work that has been here since the stone ages and still works very well
these drives are flaky!
Pros: Lot's of storage, generally a fast drive, read rates around 90-100 MB/sec.
Cons: Lot's of cons, My boss ordered 2, I ordered one for myself, 2 out of 3 of the drives failed within a couple of months of general use. Seagate has dropped the ball on this one, the drives start making loud clicks and eventually lock up, being a 1.5 TB drive this puts A LOT of data at risk, I would not reccomend this model, I would have to say go with an different drive, despite the firmware issues, as well as problems with other people doing raid arrays.
Almost 9 years and still working fine
Pros: Although DDR2 is pretty much a thing of the past. This RAM still working in the system I built back in 2008.
Cons: None
Overall Review: While you'll likely not be building a new system with DDR2 but if you've got an older system that you're keeping up and running Mushkin seems to have a pretty good product here. Has outlasted the original motherboard and SSD.
Still works great
Pros: Bought this in 2009, still working fine and performs great. Definitely a good buy for the price.
Cons: None so far...
Overall Review: This is good for a home/office application where gigabit speeds are required.
59,000 hours
Pros: These are pretty good drives overall. They function well have have decent performance.
Cons: Many of these drives suffer from high fly writes and not uncommon to see bad sectors. As with all high capacity drives it is wise to monitor SMART status. Does run hot if not well ventilated.
Overall Review: The drive failed after about 7 years (purchased in 2008) with 59,000 hours on the drive. So I can't hardly complain about the drive, the price, performance or reliability. With large drives it is best practice to either do backups or mirror drives.
Cool and Quiet
Pros: Very large case, good cable management and runs quiet. It's green! Great Cooling, very sturdy and I might also add that the paint is done well and will last for years, wont chip off.
Cons: heavy, but that's sort of expected with a large case...and having casters helps with that.
